Working with Joel Barach was a great experience. We approached Joel in early January to prepare for our purchase with a goal of June to begin shopping. We had quite a bit of things to pay off or down to get the home we wanted which is why we had to wait. Joel didn't even brush us off as other lenders had done. He was patient and encouraging and never over-promising. After the market started picking up in our area around April we decided to pull the trigger and begin shopping. Joel worked diligently with our realtor to help us determine which homes we could afford and the requirements for our loan. I strongly encourage everyone to give Ideal Home Loans a chance to work with you. It goes both ways though, please make sure you provide as much financial information as possible. I say this due to the fact that we still shopped around for another lender and ended up being quoted $100k less for a loan that what Joel offered through Ideal and they didn't care to look into any of our financial records. $100k!!! I honestly had to grill him on how that was possible since the other lender was one referring by multiple people. Well here we are, living in our new home with the amount that Joel qualified us for. I've very happy with our choice and I can't thank Joel enough for how hard he worked to get us into a loan we could afford and a home that we love. Thank you Joel and Ideal!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Ideal Home Loans. My husband and I decided to refinance our home in February. At first we tried to do it with our current mortgage holder. We were approved by them, they told us we just needed to have an appraisal done by their appraisers...never heard from them again. After a month of repeated unanswered calls, I called Ideal Home Loans. From the beginning Matthew Semryck and the rest of the staff were amazing - answered all my questions immediately, got me all the paperwork quickly, and most importantly - kept in touch! I contacted them in early March and while at first they told me the closing would be in early April, they ended up being able to get it done at the end of March. The whole process, really, has been easy and painless - I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Very BAD, BAD, BAD!!! Do NOT work w/this company!!! In the beginning they will real you in. Then you try calling them, and NEVER get return calls. You leave messages, and STILL they NEVER return your calls. They forget to give you all important information until last minute, then you have to put off dates, and again call and call, and NEVER get return calls. And finally, they take your appraisal check, cash it and say, "Oops, we can't go through with the refinance." TRUST ME - RUN NOW!!!! I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE THEM A ONE STAR BUT IT WOULDN'T LET ME POST OTHERWISE!

Horrible. Too bad 0 stars isnt an option. Started dealing with Christian Sheriff in July. Said we could close in August.... oops just kidding.... September. its October now and i haven't heard from him in over a month and a half. Called ideal mid September and was assured "someone would look into it". "This is NOT how we do business" they said. We will have a manager talk to Christain and call you to explain. Surprisingly (not really, sarcasm) have not heard a word. I would never recommend this company. I wasted 90 days when i could have been making other plans and arrangements. Christian flat out lied to me. He had no intention of doing anything for me. So that begs the question why would he waste his time AND MINE convincing me he would do something he had not intention of doing???? Dont bother with this company.

The only part I would like to see improved on is if you are paying off bill such as credit cards that you are asked for what bills and amounts that are to be paid before going to underwriting so the loan is not delayed for wrong amounts. We started with another company and was going no where. I heard the ad for Ideal Home Loans saying call for a 2nd option and I did and so glad I did. Within 24 hours Erika called us and met with her on a Sunday as that is the only day that worked for us. Never would have expected anyone to come in on the weekend. Avoid these people like the plague! I used them a number of years ago for a mortgage, and was super pleased with everything. Because of that, I tried them again this past week, and they seem to have adopted the "used car lot" way of doing business. Tried to screw me on ALL the loan terms (rate and junk fees), and then handled my concerns with the slimiest of car salesman double talk. Got the same nonsense when I spoke to the "sales manager". So sad that this business has sold out its principles and ethics for more money.

Detailed Review: I was planning to purchase a house and worked with my previous lender MM (not Ideal Home Loans), to be honest about this MM lender company, they did work quickly but I felt forced to get the interest rates what they told me to accept. Then, I spoke to Joel Barach at Ideal Home Loan, this team is bunch of smart and amazing people. I really don't give online reviews but this company (and especially Joel Barach and Team) really deserve this "True and Honest" review. I can vouch for them. I left my original lender who forced me to accept high lender fee, interest rate and worked with Joel for just 1-2 hours over the phone and asked usual questions about home loan, best rate, closing lender fee etc. and he not only understood my situation but was very-very polite in explaining the ins and outs of how and where I can save money and why Ideal Home loan does an amazing job. I was really impressed by the knowledge and straight to the point answers he provided and the comparisons Ideal home loan and Joel came up with me for getting the home loan as compared to my original lender. Their quote had substantial differences for saving money for me for lender fee, interest rate, money upfront for paying for any lender points was really low and good for anyone and the low closing cost. Now this is the best part. I was thinking it will take usual 20-25 days or more to get my home loan approved. You won't believe it, as I was a qualified buyer, Joel and his team did the work in a matter of 1 week. Can you believe it!!! I can't thank enough this team. Now every case is different but the way his team worked is simply the best I have ever seen in any business line. It was like, Im dreaming and thinking, is it even true a lender can talk to you daily, provide help and update where I stand in the process of loan approval and what's required next by me or someone else. Looking at the progress every day on my loan application, it was truly satisfying. 5 simple stages and you are approved and loan closed. Ideal Home Loans was great! We had a few credit issues and Craig was able to help us resolve those quickly. He even watched us file the dispute to make sure the wording was good. Craig and Kelly worked at all hours to help us. It was not unusual to have conversations at 8 or 9 at night. We did everything using scanning and the closing even happened at our house at 9:30pm. Kelly answered any and all of our questions over e-mail and phone. It was a long process but a relatively painless refinance.

I heard about ideal home loans on Tom Martino‘s radio show. From the moment I called them I was stunned by the courtesy, the professionalism, the care and the detail they put into my experience. I am I sole business owner that had a bankruptcy about five years ago. Taking all that into account they did things I had no idea could be done. I got an excellent interest rate just in time for some remodeling that we wanted to do. Other companies that I have called through the last two or three years either ignored me or could not offer me a viable solution to our predicament. Carrie and the other staff at ideal moved forward with confidence and kept me informed every step of the way as we went through all the way to closing! There is no other company that I would refer friends and family to at this moment to get a refinance or new mortgage than ideal home loans. Thank you thank you thank you! I fully understand why Tom Martino endorses this company. One last detail, I do not live in Denver. All of this was done over the phone. Be very careful with Ideal Home Loans. They are great up front, but once you lock in the loan do not expect to hear from them again. Just sign the papers at the end. Had to practically beg to see the final closing statement before showing up for the closing. I tried to contact someone to e-mail about my experience and was actually told i could not contact the boss. I could just send to the general mail box. if you are going with Ideal, read the employee reviews on Indeed. They give a much clearer picture of the experience I had.

I worked with Joel at ideal home loans to purchase a new home in Colorado springs in August of 2018. He was always timely in communication and on multiple weekends he generated pre approval letters offers so that we could make a quick offer on the home we wanted. Ideal completes a pre approval on you which is much better than just a simple pre qualification, this nearly ensures you are qualified to actually close the loan. I loved there secure email and web interface for easily signing documents. I would recommend them as a lender to anyone.

We had an great experience with Erika and the staff helping us repair our credit and fight very hard for us to get our dream home. Reason we didn't give 5 stars, was because of underwiting. Erika, Craig, and Chuck worked super hard for us to get our loan.Underwriting calculated our income really bad, which caused us to not be approved for our dream home. We were approved for a home loan just not the one we wanted. We ended up going with a different lender do to those circumstances, because of us really wanting this home. We have been living in our home since July. I wanted to thank Ideal for fighting for us and helping us improve our credit to get this loan.

Do not do business with ideal home loans. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This is the most micky mouse run organization I've ever dealt with. They flat out lied to me. Every time I talked to them the story changed. First they said they could, then they said they couldn't. Then they called my up and said they could get me a loan. They drug all the financials through the wringer then a week from closing decided to deny my loan. No my girlfriend and I are essential homeless unless we can come up with some in a week. What a joke. Tom Martino should never have endorsed them.
