Credit Union of Colorado...everyone here at the 13th and Logan location have been so great in guiding me in the steps of rebuilding my credit and being patient with my questions. A big shout out to Todd Jeffcoat (long term investment planner) for being really kind and detailed when it comes to financial planning!) Thank you all for being so great!

Avoid the big banks with all the fees. CU of Co has been great to me. Friendly employees and they helped me to refinance my motorcycle and get a credit card to build my credit in the first place. Of all the financial institutions I've dealt with, this has been the most pain free.

I've done hundred of transactions with Credit Union of Colorado (including when they were Colorado State Employees Credit Union) and never had an issue. I wonder if some of these negative reviews are fake, made by some competitors. All of their tellers and phone service people I've interacted with are top rate and always courteous and efficient. Their rates aren't always the best, as you should always shop around for the best rate, but they are always competitive. Compare this establishment with any bank, and they are head and heals above them.

I went in to open an account and spoke with Rena. She was unable to meet one of my specific banking needs, but instead of pushing me out the door she recommended a bank and even googled the address for me. Excellent customer service!

I've been avoiding installing the new mobile banking app because I haven't heard anything positive about it. Now I know why. I've been in the Information Technology industry for over 20 years. This is by far the worst, most unorganized, and failed roll out I've ever seen. If I had ever delivered this product, in the manner it was delivered, with obviously little to no user acceptance testing, I would have been fired for sure. After 30 minutes I finally got 'enrolled'. I don't see mobile deposit anywhere. It's the only think I use because I live 1000 miles from the nearest branch. It's probably there somewhere. Or not. Unfortunately I don't have a choice to use this junk or not. Unless I switch financial institutions. Which I'm strongly considering. After being with CUofCO since 1993. Rotten!

The greediest credit union I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with! I am now stuck paying 160 dollars to have my title released, a fee I was totally unaware of and all the associates I have spoke to are dismissive and basically, "Well, you're on you're own. Not our fault." There is no help to the common person, and will take you for everything you are worth! They will charge you for every little service they have, with no guarantees! Save yourself time, money and aggravation and take your business somewhere else! Tell your family and friends, too!

I have been with this Credit Union for over 32 years now, and they have always been professional. With no ATM fees, overdraft protection is nice, customer service has always been excellent whether on the phone, automated ADI or in person. Great place to do business with.

If you're not super wealthy, don't go through them. The mortgage lenders were rude and condescending. We had been pre-approved and already found a house. We were 4 days away from closing when they told us "it's over" without any further explanation. Mariellen literally told us "give up." She then said, "If you had 20% down, there would be no issue." I'm fairly certain they were discriminating against us based on our economic status. My partner and I both have credit scores in the upper 700s and steady employment. Our realtor had never heard of this happening before and they refused to tell her why we were being denied.

I have been banking with Credit Union of Colorado since 2013 and I will never leave! They helped me get my very first car loan and have always provided excellent customer service! The only thing I wish they would improve on is more branches throughout the Denver Metro area. the inconvenience is offset by being able to use any 7-11 or credit union ATM for free, but for in person needs I would like if I did not have to drive downtown as that is the closest location to me. Regardless, this is a great place to bank and they genuinely care about their members. Side note: the older mobile app WAS better/easier to navigate than the new app, but its not worth giving one star for the totality of the services that CUofCO provides.

They literally charged me an o/d fee when I overdrafted by 3 dollars. The person I spoke to was not willing to help. I get it was my mistake, but come on I have never even had an over draft fee waived before, nor have I overdrafted before.. a simple math error they could have waived as a 1x courtesy.. will take my business elsewhere.

Love this place, have some of the best rates and some of the best customer service. They have worked with me on plenty of loans and have bent over backwards to get the deal done. Javier Cesepedes is polite, courteous and punctual with appointments. I could not be happier with the service I have received from this credit union. If you are not a member you can sign up by "donating" $10! Well worth it!

These guys are a bunch of clowns!! I was told to try my credit union for my mortgage, as people said I would get a better rate and better service. Wrong. They had a higher rates than the professional banks, but I started the loan process as I figured at least I would get better and quick service. How wrong again!! After giving me a "good faith" estimate, I told my other lenders that I would no longer need them. Then within 24 hours the knuckleheads at PSCU told me they needed to double my down payment, and still wanted to charge me the same interest rate. I told them I would never deal with a bait and switch company like them, and to get lost. The dummies at the firm still kept processing my loan. Called my sellers real estate’s agent without my permission and told them that the price I was getting on my house at was soooo good that they would not need to do an internal inspection, this while I was still in negotiations. They probably cost me a couple thousand dollars, I don't think they did it on purpose, I just think they are that stupid.

Denver Community Credit Union screwed me over on hidden fees so I decided to give this place a shot. I loved my experience as a member here, was never charged any hidden fees, and would recommend it to anyone.

poor customer service. opened a new account and was told I couldn't deposit a check before closing time because there would be a hold on my payroll check. turns out this is not the case and probably was told this because it was close to closing time. I closed my account immediately, they don't deserve my money

Very happy with this credit union. Financed my car, and have been friendly when I've called for assistance. I havent had to go in for anything yet, which I think is a great sign that nothing has been messed up on my account.

Staff at the downtown location is rude and snotty. Hate to even go in there, and detest having to call. They are even more rude on the phone. Staff at the Evans/Illif location is very friendly. My biggest pet peeves though are that there are no drive-in locations except the one way up north in Thornton and the new "improved" online banking system is cumbersome and not intuitive from a phone.

Horrible experience. My credit union shares ATMs with them and yesterday I deposited $800 dollars and the atm malfunctioned during the deposit and shut down. When I went inside the woman I spoke with Marsha gave me a tiny slip of paper and dismissively told me I would have to bring it up with my bank. The way she spoke was as if I lost 75 cents in a coke machine not $800 dollars. I said I would not leave until I had some more official paperwork or talked to the general manager. She told security to come aggressively and said I had to leave the building. I refused and threatened to call the police that is when a coworker of hers intervened and got the general manager Joshua. He explained even though the slip shows how much was deposited he could not return it due to bank regulations and that I have to deal with my own bank. I called my own bank and now it has been two days no progress on my $800 dollars. Do not deposit cash into their atm and do not use this bank.

I wish I could give NO STARS I would. This place was the most UNPROFESSIONAL bunch of so called bank tellers. I go in to deposit money and there atms. Their atms spit out my cash twice and managed to lose $60 in between. DON'T BANK HERE. THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS A BAD JOKE. THE STAFF ARE A BUNCH OF INADEQUATE CLOWNS.

I worked on this location in 2015 as an armed security guard for about 14 months. Those people are absolutely the greatest people I ever met. I saw them how do they work for the customers interest very respectfully and professionally. I've been very lucky to work besides those people, I learned a lot from them.

Me and my father had been loyal credit union members for going on for years now after my wallet was stolen after calling to have my debit card cancelled I had to go in and have a new debit card printed well it turns out the debit card they printed was the same debit card I had when my wallet was stolen now today I stand at the grocery store with no way of paying for my groceries because I have a bad debit card I am beyond frustrated that a credit union how can make such a big mistake I trust you guys with my money but you can't even print the right debit card and now I have no way of paying for my groceries and no way of accessing my money till Monday morning not happy at all

Absolutely the worst banking experience. I got my car broken into and had to order new Debit & Credit card which was on the 14th of January. It's now the 30th of January and I have YET to receive any of my cards. I will never do business with them again. This is absolutely absurd. What's even worse is the people AT THE BANK agree that this isn't okay.

Do not bank with this Credit Union they are sneaky and sketchy. My ex and I have a car note through them because my ex works for them. Well turns out my ex filed bankruptcy and neither him or the Credit Union informed me of this. Instead they renegotiated the loan with out my knowledge or permission so that my ex’s responsibility would be over $11,000 cheaper than the original loan. The Credit Union then called me and asked how I would like to pay for the $11,000 + to which my response is I am not because you should have never altered my loan with out my permission. Well now they are claiming that they are the $11,000 and I am not responsible for it any longer. Of course I asked for a letter stating to the fact, which Lori in collections gladly agreed to now three weeks later when I call to find out where the letter is, Lori tells me they won’t be sending one. This credit union is shady and should not be trusted. Ironically this this generic reply they sent says they would like to talk privately about my concerns. The funny thing is if someone at this company actually cares about customers they would actually read their reviews and respond in kind instead of computer generated response saying let’s talk about this like my complaint was all about how I talked and was told one thing then found out just another lie from this credit union

Had my truck loan through CuoC. Was fine during, but they never sent the title when I paid off my loan. They were largely unsympathetic to my issues (although one woman was understanding). Bottom line is their response was basically "that's too bad" when I lost a few hours to filling out forms, making phone calls and about $50 in paying for a duplicate title. I just expected better service and didn't get it. I'm hoping reviews like this will improve their business practices.
