The most comfortable library to study or read in. Quiet well kept clean space with a fireplace and window shades to keep the sun off when it’s hot. Plentiful outlets for charging. Helpful librarians can point you towards books or resources. This place proves libraries are still relevant in the 21 century.

A nice modern study space, though not much of a library besides. It is quiet but is very open, making it seem like there's little privacy to be had. Still, plenty of places to sit and a fair amount of resources to explore. Study rooms are available and rentals are convenient. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. Really wish they were open longer, or at least on Sundays, as it's not often that one working a 9:00-5:00p shift can really visit anymore.

It's a nice library, but for being on the Eastside and not in a retirement facility, it has terrible hours. As a student and someone who works full-time, I'm rarely able to actually use it to get work done. It's a nice study space, but it's never open. They also announce they're closing early. Super annoying. If its 5:24 why are you paging that you're closing in 30 minutes, or if it's 5:40 why are you closing in 15? It's uninviting and is always off on time.

This library has been great now since I am informed of the things they didn''t tell me previously like "which printer my documents are being printed on" and "why didn't the PC send my docs to the printer?". Employees here are nice and the library is has been pleasant to visit without any further oddities.

I go here sometimes, decent place to sit and work. But doesn't have too much of a library feel that encourages quiet. Almost seems like they should play soft instrumental music since you hear everything. I think more can be done in Noise reduction, whether it's painted panels and/or coverings hung with sound proofing. Really the only other thing is the inconsistent hours during the week, I'm not sure I understand that.

Smaller library than what you'd expect the east side library to be. Has all the amenities a normal library has however. Many people bring their laptops to this library and there's a lot of space for people to study. OK selection of books. This library is new and uses modern architecture, which is awful looking in my opinion. I'd recommend going to the Central Library before going here, unless it is much more convenient to go here instead.

I got kicked out for play hitting someone that hit me and then the librarians are never understanding and sensitive they don't know how to handle kids and are rude if you even come near the building.

It is relocated to Murray street, it is good enough Pros: good spped, with speed test i got 20 MBPS download and 40 MBPS upload spped. Cons: librarian is loud at times, but may be becasue it is small space. automatic machines are loud too. No dedicated readig area.

The renovation looks very nice but it's hours are awful for anyone who works business hours. I live 1 block away and have never seen it open.

This is the library closest to my home, office and kids school. The hours are awful. It would be nice to see this branch open much earlier. The renovations are great.

Best public library! Everything here is very high tech, like the drop off conveyor and the check out machines are so much easier than any machines I’ve used in my life. Always quiet in here, so definitely a good place to so some study and readings. Kids section seems to be pretty well maintained as well.

Very modern library with plenty of spaces to work in. Only real complaint is the conference room can get loud. Actually, also, have been asked for change in the bathroom a few times too, but that’s not the libraries fault, or indeed the fault of the people asking for money.

This MPL branch is more of a small study space than a book or media warehouse. It has a modern design that breathes the necessary awe we need in places of knowledge. I wish it wish it had longer hours, and was open on Sunday...

I love this library. It's an amazing work space- great location for east side and riverwest natives, the desk chairs and lounge chairs are equally comfortable, the atmosphere is clean and bright, the wifi is fast, the librarians are friendly, and you can get any book within MPL transferred to this branch within a couple days! Only downside: I wish it were open more hours a week.
