Awesome place to bring entire family. They offer several programs from arts & crafts, computer classes, music, movie night , bookclubs, to just surfing the web. There's a teen section where computers are offered for use and a large children's section. They offer many activities for every age. Wheelchair accessible and plenty of parking.

This quite an impressive library! If you have young children the children's room is AMAZING! I am impressed by the quality of this library given the limited size of the community. It is obvious that the citizens of La Crosse really value their library system.

This facility is amazing. The staff is second to none. The noise level is insane. I left home to do homework (basically ran away from family and pets) to find a lovely, quiet environment to study. Boy, did I come to the wrong place. With earbuds in, listening to my Anatomy lecture, I could hear the conversation of the lady at the material checkout desk perfectly. She and her guest were having an email address issue. When did libraries become a place where kids can roam freely to comment on what others are doing(this happened to me today, on the second floor no less) and others are allowed to have tantrums at full volume, while employees yell for each other accross the room? This is not the library behavior I was taught. Please go back to your hushed ways!! I miss it terribly. I love the convenience of your parking, the helpful staff on second floor, large study areas, and usual ambiance. Please go back to being the quiet library I remember from my childhood. Thank you!

I enjoy going there. They have a lot to offer such as wi-fi, computers, and a nice place to study. You are also able to check out movies and books for free, and take free computer classes.

A wonderful staff runs a library that can get you almost any book you need. There is a very nice children's section to get your kids into reading

The library itself is an alright building (a little older--60s International style) with a wide variety of books and materials. However, and I hate to sound mean, there is a slight catch with the library--it seems like there are always a few weirdo types who are just hanging out. While it really isn't that big of deal, I also don't know how comfortable I would feel letting my kids explore the library. Like I said, maybe I am just being paranoid, but I also will say that I have had a few "uncomfortable" encounters (people asking me for money, a guy talking and talking to/at me about the "Illuminati" for a long while, etc) while at the library. So, take the good with the bad--its still a great resource and has a lot of materials--I just have had some experiences there that have tainted my view of the place a little.
