The employees are always kind and helpful. Besides checking out books or movies, this Library offers hundreds of other activities, almost all of them free. Hundreds of Classes on line on almost any subject you can imagine.

I was late for an appointment at wall mart near by, so I rescheduled for hour and a half later. To kill time I decided to stop by and check out some books what not. Great place, very clean, quite atmosphere, funded by the Pierce County Library Systems so there is a very good selection everything. Oh and If you need something specific go online, and check if the library has it, if not other library might have it. Just place an order and pick it up at this one.

I've spent lots of time here over the last couple of weeks of unemployment, and it was always nice. Mostly quiet; a great place to read and a good collection of books, CDs, and movies. The staff here is really nice too.

One of my favorite libraries in the area. I have found that the employees are always super kind and helpful. They also have great reading tastes and can give good recommendations. I enjoy the fact that they will talk with patrons and have engaging and meaningful conversations. They have a good selection of books and movies. They even have an area where you can buy used books and the money goes to fund lots of programs at the library. The only thing I will say that is negative, is that if you read their calenders. Almost 90% of the monthly activites are geared toward kids and teens. Which is fine, I just wish there were more groups and activities for kids. I don't mind the noise as I think libraries should be places of colaboration and fun. I like the childrens play area because it encourages kids to come and read. I just put headphones in if the noise gets too loud.

It's so loud in this library. Everytime I come here. Today the staff is training and even they are speaking loudly. Whatever happened to asking people to be quiet. The staff is nice but they should be more assertive when a kid is yelling and screaming.

Great place to go, very clean. Lots of great books. However, while I was reading a book to my nephew he pointed out that if you keep giving a mouse a cookie he will get diabeatus. Welp, cats out of the bag.

Love this little library! I have many find childhood memories during homeschool years spending afternoons here, and eagerly awaiting books I'd placed holds on. :) Much more tech-centric now in keeping up with information trends, but it is still a great quiet place to study.

I really love this library. Everyone who works there is helpful and kind. I'm not the best dressed or the most technically savvy but these people really go out of their way to help you. I wish they opened at 0830 in the morning. But I know it's all about budget s I'm just such a early riser

Nice library and location but the kids play area is way too loud and no one really enforces the rules.Libraries are supposed to be a quiet place not a loud playground or a place to have loud cell phone conversations

I love the South Hill Library! I've been pleasantly surprised a couple of times by events for children occurring as we walked in on weekends. My two daughters love it! It's a lovely place to go and hang out!

Nice clean area, but the library downtown is overall preferred as it's more of an elegant building and has more to do for kids. Be warned the computers without warning turn off 10 minutes beforehand which can be a bummer for anyone not working on a cloud or so fourth.
