The hours are disgraceful, I would love to use this library because I live a couple blocks away. But the hours make that almost impossible.

Sophia Beach

This library is okay, they never have the books I want though and it takes forever to get books that have been put on hold. Also, people love to be as loud as possible here. I wish that someone would do something about that. Plus, there is a lot of disrespectful teenagers that hang around the entrance and makes it awkward to walk in. Other than that though, it's an average library.

This library has been at it's most, compare to all the other libraries I've been to. Convenient with the park, and the water park is a plus. It's so family friendly, also check out is so simple and quick. Yes my family and I enjoy the Puyallup down town library.

Jacob Carroll

They are an amazing library when they are open, however, it seems as though they close at random times that are contrary to their posted hours.

Love it here. Great place to get books & use computers. My only complain is...ppl forget it's a LIBRARY & they're very loud and let their kids run around.

Brandon H

Great library with a lot of places to relax. Comfy chairs scattered throughout the upstairs. Helpful staff, free Wi-Fi, good views of the park outside.

Jerry de Leon

Overall okay, but a lot of young people come in here and treat it like a hang-out or meeting place. All they do is talk and talk, giggle and laugh. Shame on their parents for not teaching the value of a library and for not respecting other people who are seriously there to study!

Jose Luis Montiel Hernández

great Library Nice place !!

Jawnee Ellis

Great library can print out as much as I want. Librarians are nice. The other people can be rude but that’s not the library’s fault. Last time I was there the bathroom doors upstairs had to remain open , sure you had the stalls but that was strange. I had to really go and couldn’t make it down stairs, wish I would have known that I don’t like people hearing me pee lol. I know they have issues with homelessness coming in and doing god knows what in there. Other that no issues no complaints. I love this place.

Great place to just relax and work (could use more supportive chairs with tables)

I love bringing my boys here! There is usually a dedicated children's librarian, two stories of books and places to study, plus rooms for special classes.

Today was my first time coming into this library and I was a little lost and confused on their procedure for printing. They first lady at the downstairs desk explained how to add money to an account in order to retrieve my documents. I went upstairs as the downstairs printer was out of order, I was having a little trouble figuring out how to get my documents to print so I went to the upstairs desk where a nice lady named Bonny was and she came over to help me. We both had troubles getting my documents to print so she gave me an SD card to use to save my documents and printed them out for me. Everyone was super nice!!!

Staff is ALWAYS helpful and have answers when requested promptness too!! The building to study or read is very inviting and just the right atmosphere for quiet!! Always have the latest books if not get them for you. Wish that all libraries were like this one. Good to hold a REAL book instead of a 'machine'...feel of paper and turn pages! My commute on the train to Seattle was goodf with a good book from Puyallup Library and easy to return or pick up a reserved item. Excellent!! The above statement holds true but i don't commute anylonger but they find the books you request interlibrary loan or buy the book.. They are always pleasent to work with Update: 2-24: great as usual ..My cousin in Colorado always tell each other good new books and if i don't purchase them.... it is in the collection and or they can get it because it is a topic that othes may want to read... 9/25 always nice people to talk to .. phone and when my computer is not always working... and for the new books they always get them for me i perfer holding a real book

The Puyallup library is a very kind place to be. I spent up to 2 hours here everyday. Recently got a library card.

A beautiful library on the inside. Children's section is downstairs while the upstairs is books, DVDs, music, magazines with a small area just for teens overlooking Pioneer Park. The librarians working there have been helpful when my card was having issues and seem to be friendly.

Kristina Woodard

A really good place for people to get Wi-Fi and get help with books and I will visit as much as I'm in the area.

Asked my service dog and I to leave. After showing the lady my dogs registry card she did not accept it and continued to question me. Found it very rude and disrespectful.

I absolutely love the socialist experiment that is the public library! Puyallup's is clean, open, with a decent collection for a town our size. I have been spoiled by some other regional libraries I miss but not too shabby.

I love the Puyallup library. It has become a regular planned visit for my grandson and I every week. He has been going to the library with me since he was a toddler and the librarians are very helpful, particularly with him searching for whatever subject has struck his fancy this week. I love that this library is so well loved by the community, it is almost always busy and I see children, particularly those from junior high in the library actually studying and not just playing on the computers. It warms my heart each time I go. I have donated hundreds of hardback books myself to the library and almost always purchase more when I am there. This is by far the best library in the area and far superior to the county library system in my opinion. I love that I can put books on reserve before they are published and find myself reading a much greater variety of books than I had in the past, when I was strictly purchasing my books.

Good sized library, clean, lots of windows and good areas to use for study. Knowledgeable staff, crazy cool check-out kiosk that takes literally two seconds. Good location, safe neighborhood, good supply of materials. Really so far zero complaints about this library.

A relaxing and we'll maintained building to visit, read books, use the internet, or check out something from their large selection of books, music, and movie.

Sheena Harms

Lots of book selection. Excellent staff. We love their story times. It's in a great location, in close proximity to the park and spray park. There's usually lots of parking, unless there's an event going on. Love this place! Also love that the children's area downstairs only has one point of entrance. Makes it much easier to watch my kids. It's also right next to a bathroom.

Isabelle Brennan

My family and I love this library! We rarely want a book that they don't have. The library is always clean and in good repair and my kids love playing on the computers after finding some books and of course love the park right outside.

Faye Russell

Great library, but not as diverse as needed for today.

Michael Lacombe

Staff is kind and helpful

I came here to use the wifi for part of my job. The upstairs staff is very strict. I feel bad for the one in charge she seems nice at first but uses her power to bully patrons into behaving certain ways. All in all, you can use wifi for 30 minutes here before the staff start monitoring your activities and even start kicking people out...the guy sitting next to me actually just got kicked out because he was in the library, reading. Not the right book, it wasn't a library book, apparently! WiFI worked great, anyway.

I only been to the libary once very helpful staff

I recently visited as I just moved to the area and received great friendly service and enjoyed the atmosphere. love our city library!

Poor selection and I’m fairly certain one of the librarians fraudulently charged me for a book. So called “public service” Edit- The account is under my maiden name. The librarian charged me $40 for invisible coffee stains for a book I can buy on Amazon for $24. She also kept the book. Shady.

A good place for people who like to read but don't like to pay 15 bucks for a paperback....Oh and free internet too

The staff working are great there very nice and helpful and always willing to help with your questions and my son also loves coming here the children's area is amazing kids stay very well intertained so much for them to do and they also have a kid park right outside the library and a coffee shop across the street it's right downtown so much to do best library spot 2 floor story very well kept

I have been a patron of the Puyallup Library since I was old enough to have a card, and have always had a great experience, overall. I will say the last time I was in it had been a couple years, and I was left feeling uncomfortable. My niece was looking at books, and I was utilizing the WiFi since I had gotten a new phone that needed to be set up and my home WiFi was having unresolvable issues. I needed an outlet and a cushioned chair as I deal with neurological issues so I found a chair upstairs that was close. No one else was around where I was sitting-I was just relaxing. I was there about 10 minutes before an employee said from across the way, “Maam, this section is only for ages up to 17” and escorted me to another spot where there were only hard chairs. I looked around where I was at before I followed, and realized the books around me were youth books. Regardless, perhaps I read these books? What if I’m waiting for my niece? What if I’m dealing with vertigo? Who am I harming? It made me feel very odd. I would understand perhaps if it was an “18 and over” section and I was under age even though their is no such regulation, or if I was taking up spots compromising others to enjoy. I sincerely am curious, since when do we segregate book sections and who is allowed to be in them? Certainly did not make me feel welcome and comfortable.
