I was working on some project on the library, everyone was nice and quiet focusing on their study or reading for a couple of hours, until this noisy couple began to sit there chatting loud their topic as if it were a two-person library. I tolerated for half an hour, until there was no sign they were going to stop. So I moved across them intentionally played some video loud, trying to remind them to keep the noise to a low-level that no longer bother other people around. They didn't lower down at all, instead 3 minutes later this Carolyn came up to intervene, when I trying to explain to her what happened, she lied that she couldn't hear the other's loud noise. In the end I was driven out of the library. Thanks Carolyn for your perfectly impartial gesture, so that these human loudspeakers can be louder next time fearlessly when they visit the library to interrupt more people around them. BTW these two are from the same ethnic group that I frequently see repackaging packaged fruit boxes in the grocery stores by picking out the large ones from different boxes, repackaging and leaving all the smaller ones to the next customers, effectively trying to help solve the overweight problem for USA.

A very clean and quiet place to spend time reading or working on the computer. Free membership in the King County Library System comes with awesome benefits, including 75 pages per week of print both color and black&white, 2 hours per day of public computer use, and access to all of the king county library system locations. This particular location is small, and doesn't have a large selection in terms of quantity, but it is easy to request that any book available at another location be sent to your local location. I have always found the librarians here to be very friendly, cheerful, knowledgeable and helpful, especially with this being my first experience as an adult with a library. You can count on them to help you with anything you need.

Story time is very good but if you need help to check out the books with a person instead of the self scan the staff will treat you very disrespectfully.

Beautiful and clean. Decent selection of books. Only downside is that it's not a quick in and out from the parking lot if you're picking up holds. You'll need to climb a flight or take the elevator.

South-facing windows are a plus. Smaller than it would appear from the outside too due to occupying only a section of the building. The major downside is insufficient seating. Especially as more residents move into the adjacent buildings, the library will need to add more tables and more seating to keep pace with demand.

I really like the new library. Interior design is welcoming. Big exterior windows make you feel as if you are really sitting outside. While the library is small and therefore offers limited number of books, you can come here to read newspaper/magazines, get online, or do your quiet work. Love it!
