Great little library! Small but useful and fun collection, with lots of meeting rooms for the public to reserve upstairs. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can stop in quickly to pick up and self-check out holds, or can stay, browse, use the computers, and relax and read. This library does a great job of supporting our community!

Staff was very helpful on my first visit in. Needed to use the computers to print a document for school. They were super helpful over the phone when I called and told me what I would need to bring in to print(just some spare change). It was an amazing experience and one I haven’t had a library before. Thanks ladies!

One of the spot I'll miss if I ever leave this place.The room itself is great, the reading arena even has sections only for non electronic devices which is really helpful.And it has lots of books I want to read even if I can't borrow and take them home. Check some rare old books, quite many of them are held by this Capitol Hill Branch Library.Other thing you might notice is that the librarians here have the best dressing.Yes they are pretty old, with wrinkles all over their face, but still they are elegant, decent and knowledgeable - rare combination among people of my age.

It’s a cute space, but the study room reeked of marijuana. They should air out the rooms. The smell gave me a headache. Hard to study here.

Overall, this is a very pleasant place to visit. Seating can be sparse but the staff has been quite helpful and the patrons are generally quiet. You do have to be aware of the fairly high child presence but they're usually old enough to know to be relatively quiet. There's an elevator which makes access to the two main floors very convenient. There is parking beneath the library and even though it only has a dozen or so spaces, I usually find one to park in pretty easily. I did have one hiccup during my second visit there. I registered for a library card with fantastic assistance from staff who also helped me also complete the steps for wi-fi printing. Unfortunately, even after registering and waiting about 15 minutes, I was still unable to print but in the grander scheme of things this was relatively minor. Edit: As of 16 January 2018 one of the men's stalls is missing a door but all are short which makes it awkward.
