REVIEWS OF Salt Lake City Public Library IN Utah

Thelonious Linford

This Library is absolutely amazing. The building is just so beautiful and expanseful. They have tons of selections of books and amazing study areas and plenty of places to sit and read. The roof is particularly beautiful, especially for sunsets and looking out over the city.

Al L

One of the best libraries in the US or even world. Its architecture and design is one of a kind and classic for libraries. This building doesn't need to turn on lights in the day. At higher level of the library, you can enjoy 360 degrees view from the library hall. Best of all, there is a rooftop garden and you can enjoy your meal at here (Sorry, I don't see any no food, no drink signage).

Curt Williams

Great Staff! Every staff member I came into contact with was incredibly helpful and kind. Like any urban library, you can expect to see people from all walks of life - the staff there treat everyone with patience and kindness. The library itself is lovely, easy to navigate, and has numerous resources to search for and find your book.

Chloe Wilson

The structure is beautiful and there's a lot of great reading options inside. extremely wide selection of books, and lots of online resources available if you have a library card. The librarians were helpful and knew what they were doing. Very spacious, with lots of room to read and study. My one complaint is that they don't have free parking.

Kerem Cantekin

Nice place to relax, go upstairs take random book as and enjoy the views or go down drink coffee and watch all floors of the library downstairs.

Corban Russell

This library is better than any other public library I've ever been to. 1. It is huge! 2. it is beautifully designed and maintained. 3. The rooftop garden is pretty neat, and connects to stairs that curve their way from the grounds up to the tip top corner of the roof. It is such a neat design, with a quote at the start of the stairs about beginning each journey with a single step, and the words "The End" on the Top step-next to the words "The Beginning", because as you turn around, what was the last step is now the first! I proposed to my wife there on that step!

Ben Webb

I simply just LOVE this place. It is beautiful and peaceful. The public access to the internet through the free computers can come in handy sometimes. The architecture of the building and the design of the lawn, amphitheater, courtyard, ...the entire place, it is extraordinary! This is one sexy building. It is just a great place to go to learn, relax, get some new music or movies, especially those days when you don't really have any place to get to. The library is one of my favorite places to chill.

Kimberly H

Beautiful building with lots of light and glass. Nice staff. Clean and easy to maneuver. Parking was also accessible and fast.

Regan Shepherd

Such fantastic architecture and just a pleasurable place to look for books and to read. Great views and wonderfully juxtaposed feelings of both privacy and connection.

Benergy Benavidez

This library is a place of many colors and variety. There are always things going on outside and inside on the many levels of the library so prepare to leave the library with more things you want to do! Besides being a library they hold live music performances and many other performances outside to bring the family, a date, or friends. Then once you explore the place you will find shops outside in the courtyard, a garden on the roof, artwork of all types everywhere and plenty of places to take awesome pictures. Don't forget to bring proof of utah mailing address and get your library card!

Eric Piper

Best library in the state

Mark Marshall

I love this place! The ambience is otherworldly. The coolest place in town!

Phillip Lloyd

Public libraries are there to offer as a dynamic, versatile community center. Impactful use, among other purposes, is to “find work, apply to college, secure government benefit, and immerse oneself in learning". All these, and more, are effectively supported only when constructed on a foundation of an environment that is welcoming, encouraging, and innovative. This should be achieved in all tangible and intangible aspects of a thoughtfully programmed library. The Salt Lake City Public Library does well to encompass these notions. Their only pick fall is the expensive public parking, which deters those visitors who especially need this resource in their life.

Justin Labinski

Awesome! One of the largest libraries in the country with every book you could ever want. A roof top garden and coffee shop along with a bunch of small shops on the ground floor. Almost always some fun event going on to check out.

Jason Tyler

A playful building, and a pleasure to spend time in. Spent a couple hours here, a couple times over, to quietly study. Yes, there are a few homeless people here, but no, there is no stench of urine or smoke. Everything is ok, and I think the negative reviews speak more about the currency of hobophobia as opposed to the library itself.

Brock Adams

It is the most beautiful homeless shelter I have ever studied in. It's not too bad if you don't mind strong smells of urine, smoke, and people sleeping in the bathroom stalls. It is difficult to study with all of the distractions and the constant need to protect your personal items (if you need to use the restroom, pack everything up and take it with you). It is somewhat endearing though because it has a feeling similar to that of the "Island of Misfit Toys." It is the perfect place to feel what you want, and be exactly what you feel. Everyone is welcome, and no personal hygiene is required! I am grateful to see that our tax money has been so efficiently spent on this beautiful edifice. A real place of architectural beauty to house gamers, drug addicts, television watchers, and travelers(mostly a place for them to shower in the sinks). You'd think that whoever approved this project would've taken more than 30 seconds to think about if it was a good idea or not to build such an elaborate homeless shelter; maybe even let the thought cross their mind of whether or not this was a good use of our tax money....... apparently not! Welcome to the brilliance of public goods.

Jeffrey Calloway

Salt lake city's New Like library downtown I helped build in I believe 2004 I worked for Arlin Hatch it's a beautiful place to stop and think about whatever in a peaceful environment I give it a five star.

Bill Ruesch

Love the library. Hate the architecture. It gives me vertigo. Sorry.

Joshua Clements

Excellent Library! Very interesting architecturally, creating a unique public space with a market of small business. Awesome quiet seating areas for reading, polite socializing, and people watching. One of the better childrens libraries, with fun reading areas. Great plaza with fountain and sculptures. Green roof with seating, as well as sweeping ramp access. Just a fun place, one of my favorites!

devashis basu

Being a public library, it doesn't deny entry to any one - including those who, besides being outrightly smelly and unkempt, freely leave litter behind. Does spoil the feeling of being in an otherwise first class public library.

Nursing Is FUN

I came from California and visited the place and quickly signed up! Staff are amazing! And their homeless are reasonable. Those who complain, visit California! Utah is the best state ever! Child friendly, wealthy and the libraries are awesome! Super happy.

Amalia Reyes

Architecture is exquisite but the overall environment was disappointing. The entire place reeks. I thought I would get used to the smell but it was an overwhelming stench that flows throughout the entire library. Had a few homeless folk come up and try to sell me random things. I felt a little uncomfortable and didn't have the desire to linger. I think they could also do a better job of featuring good books (i.e. NY Times Bestsellers, etc.)

Herzogian

A great-looking library and has a lot of superb content. I like ordering some obscure novels via ILL and the staff is professional and friendly.

Monica Hart

Best library ever! Free check out of a massive library of movies, TV shows, ect. Not to mention an extensive library. If they don't have it, chances are they can find it for you.

judge Whetten

Has books and pretty

Mama Bear

Used to go there many years ago. Was great, lots of books, quiet. And I loved the little coffee shop!

Jason Gallo

Great library. Check out the bees on the roof. Also a great view of downtown SLC from the top of the library. Plenty of places to work on the north side of the building.

Sydney Schramm

The view of the mountains and valley is stunning. Really enjoyable. Plus, the building is beautiful and very comfortable. True, there are homeless people, and some do stink, but the library is large enough that this isn't a huge problem. Most of the time they keep to themselves, I've only seen a possible fight when someone started insulting a homeless man's work ethic. Also, there are activity labs to learn new skills (music making, videography), art galleries, life size chess sets, a kids only floor, etc. in the same building but outside of the library are a cheap used book store ($1), salon, cafe, and a plants store. There aren't any decent parking options. Your cheapest bet is $2/hour on the street.

Abigail Hartley

I love the downtown library. They've put in a community garden they've named The Plot (teehee) and vehicles. They also sponsor artists in the gallery downstairs from the courtyard, and they have any number of eclectic groups going at any day of the week, to appeal to a wide range of interests. I love the big window panes that let in the daylight on the main floors, and the children's library is to die for. You will find every member of a community represented there, from the elitists to the homeless. That's because libraries are intended for the community and yes, even homeless people belong to our communities. Keep doing you SLCPL. <3

Aaron Thorup

Been to this library many times over the years. It is absolutely gorgeous! Worth a visit. Only downside are the hobos, which aren't a big deal during the day time.

Andrew- Lynes

Beautiful and HUGE! Something for everyone and it's totally free.

Rachel Hall

Wonderful place! I was impressed on how big and wonderful this building was. As far as books you will find whatever you want here. It's a great place to study, do research or just simply find a place to focus on something. The computers are great too with fast internet. People are here a lovely and welcoming. Great great experience.

Natalie Winsor

The library itself is fine, but if you're coming here specifically for the passport office, do NOT come here. I came into the office at least five times and was told to leave and come back every time because I was given different information every single time. Once I was able to sit down with someone, the process was painless, but the process leading up to that was so terrible and frustrating that it just was not worth it whatsoever.

Cody Neaman

I love coming here, it's huge and there's always a place to go sit and read or just surfer the web on your phone tablet or labtop. The staff is absolutely fantastic and so friend! They really do how to help me find what I'm lookong for which isnt the easiest thing to do for me so I would recommend this place for anyone looking to get some work done or just to get some alone time!

Ahmad Dbouk

Great modern style. Tons of natural light from the massive glass walls. Plenty of seating/study space.

DISCRIMINATION COMPLAINT & LOSS OF MONEY BY MANAGEMENT. I am a library card holder but not a salt lake city resident. I paid in September with cash & was told that it was for the year. After I received my new phone, I had to re-download my "libby" application and it all of a sudden stopped working. I called the library and was told that I needed to speak with Amy Roberts as it was saying that my registration was no longer good and I needed to have an address check. I told Amy all of this and she verified on a phone call (that I have recorded, & saved) that she would rectify the situation as I used my drivers license to support where I lived as a non city resident when I purchased the membership and I paid with cash, which is the reason I have the card in the first place, that she would reinstate my membership for the year as she couldn't see my records. My libby account let me in. Amy then called me back 38 minutes later, I'm sure after she had time to research my social media profile (Ive been very clear about my beliefs in the separation of church & state in Utah) and proceeded to tell me that she researched my account and found that I had only paid for a one- month membership (why would I only pay for one month? Thanks for the inconvenience!). I feel this is discrimination that I have experienced in this state a lot. My account no longer works. A shame they even charge for that when money, goes missing. It's not even like I am a risk, I haven't checked out one book from the facility and I use it for Libby to listen to the audio books and read stuff as I was told they have more of a selection. Have a great dinner on me! Gorgeous facility otherwise.

Jack C

We went to the library today for the first time and it was awesome. The lady at the desk on floor 2 with red glasses was incredibly friendly, I could have chatted with her forever. The kids level is awesome, so many books!

Pitt Wonderlust

Very happy to read books here, there are a lot of books to read

Daniella Hilditch-Ralph

One of the nicest libraries I've ever been to

Ileana Tuduce

This place is unsafe. I came here 3 times. Each time I ended-up in the elevator with a homeless person. At first I thought it would be OK but I already saw 2 naked butts. Also, I tried sitting alone at the window, there is a row of people sitting alone at laptop desks. I always get a "partner". They won't go to another homeless person but to the woman sitting alone. They are agressive and it's a bit scary. I won't be coming back. They should really find a way to make this place safe for everyone. Also, it smells like poop, it really does. It's nauseating.

Chris Berry

It's always been a comfortable atmosphere there. I love this building.

Bree Bear

They never clean up trash anywhere I had to throw away trash that was left behind just to sit down where in the comfortable spot I wanted, homeless people all over around the environment leaving their filthy trash around and hanging out smoking cigarettes around little kids!!!!! I could not find any ACT study books and non of the librarians were of any help. When I went to apply online for a library card they definitely did not let it be known that you have to be 18 in order to get a library card without a legal guardian/parent so it was definitely a waste of gas money to drive there only to find out I need a legal guardian to sign a form and drive all the way back with the form to get my card. The plants looked like someone took scissors and just starting chopping in random places and they look like they haven't been watered and over watered as well. The security is terrible when it comes to homeless people walking around following others or asking others for things (I've been multiple times and seen this), certain employees are rude, and finally not to mention that they do not have any regard for any child's safety regardless that it's the parents job to take care of them. I saw a child standing on top of the railing in the elevator and climbing the railing all around it and no one cared. They let kids roam around by themselves without parent/legal guardian company. I used to go here a while back all the time and now that I have returned I can say I am truly disappointed in how far down the hill this place has gone. Never going here again, it is just a sad disappointment. I was so sorely disappointed that I left after 20 minutes. I do not recommend.

Greg Dennler

WOW! What architecture!! This place is amazing and hard to explain. Nearly invisible elevators... all glass. Stores and shops inside. Four floors and work areas overlooking downtown Salt Lake City and the mountains. If I could work everyday from here I would, but was only in town so that my son could attend Comic Con and I was able to work from the library for the day. Very nice people. A lot of homeless and the parking cost $12 for 5 hours.

Danielle Waters

Such a great place! I love our library. When I have friends from out of town come and visit, I like to take them here.

Johnathan Warren

The most beautiful library I have ever seen with a spectacular rooftop view.

ABM Faruque

Salt Lake City Public Library Building itself is a great amazing place to visit with any one’s family. Building is constructed with excellent curved glasses with an amazing artistic design of its own, only one in our city. They have many different kinds of facilities for all ages. Lots of books and magazines of various types are available. It’s a garden on top of its 5 storied building. Staffs are excellent and always cordially helpful. But, often crowded by homeless people.

Benjamin Hatch

This library is so cool! So many books and different activities going on here all the time!

Robina J

This library is SO BEAUTIFUL and bright!! Lots of windows and seating. There’s also such wonderful artwork and little shops inside. The roof has a beautiful view of the city and a beehive. Apparently they also let people borrow puzzles and sewing machines here, and there are so many events. Happened upon a massive book sale today~

Michael Smith

They really do have a curated selection of the most extremely annoying apparently homeless and/or mentally-ill persons using the free computers here. I recognize that they have just as much right to use the facilities as I do, but they yell, scratch themselves where you don't want to see it, bounce up and down, blah blah blah...security does exist, but the only time I see them threatening to kick people out is when people fall asleep...the sleeping ones are less of a problem than the ones they leave alone. The loud barking ones make a library visit feel like being in jail.

An00bis IRL

Place reeks of homeless people so much you get a headache!

Hubert Schwarthoff

The building takes your breath away. Sweeping curves, which you can experience yourself, by taking the elevator up to the fifth floor, then walk out onto the roof terrace and arch your way back down the large ramp. More outdoor features to explore, before enjoying the glass palace with all the amenities of a modern public library. Bring your kids and let them explore, while you sip a coffee in the atrium, or at nearby Les Madeleines.

Camilo Salinas

Today was my first time and I loved it the level 4... The two front desk ladies was as angels, I don't remember her names but it They've got a great service volunteering. Thanks for choose her

Sana

The staff that worked at the library were very friendly. I was struggling with printing from my laptop and they helped me step by step. The parking is a bit difficult. The street parking is not bad, but the garage parking is expensive. The desks are great for studying/getting work done. Ours was a little dirty, but they are very spacious and have outlets. On the weekends, several of the stores on the first floor are closed. The cafe attached to the library is really good! I had a Lavender Latte and it was delicious.

Derek Richards

What are the best and most technologically advanced Building architecture that I've ever seen that has all the advancements in computer usable computer rooms printers Etc and a library with books to cover any subject! I went there and it was in awe and it's well worth a visit!

Andrew Ho

This is one of the places you should definitely visit and take a look inside in Utah.

Nathan Ruschman

I love the SLC library. It's selection is vast and the layout and design of library is really neat too.

Daniel Rufty

They charge $3 an hour for parking. I have never been to a library where they charged for parking. Outrageous.

David Richardson

This library is awesome. Very pretty. Has tons and tons of books. The kids section is really fun, and cool. We had our engagement pictures taken here. They were really nice about it.

komoriblues asdfgda

One of my favorite routines while still living in SLC-- grab an apple and a tea from the wholefoods store, then walk to the library and read for hours.

Julie Duran-Soriano

We were able to watch Salt Lake City Ballet perform Coppelia in the Nancy Tessman Auditorium its so nice the library offers these free events for the community. Plus this library has so much to offer cafes, art and lots of books.

D Simmons

The library is The Most Dynamic place in the universe. It combines faith, education, comfort, community, research, ambience, and tranquility. This library is incredible and I have been a member since it was built. Amazing staff, resources, catalogue, setting, and sincerity. Visit for sure. 5 stars +

Troy Kump

TIP - be sure to check out the view from the roof. It's amazing! TIP - they have a great group on beekeeping TIP - great wifi and work desks you can use. TIP - be sure to check out the arts festival here each year in June! It's lots of fun, good food, and many amazing local artists.

Dallas Farish

I've been to many libraries in several states, nothing compares to the beautifully designed center of amazing! The events and classes alone put this library over the top, not to mention the four floors of written and digital media. A few extra perks include; a community garden, beehives with a viewing area, small rooftop park, cafes, and plenty of computer access on almost every floor. In short, a must see!!

John Dover

The rooftop view is beautiful.

Noah Ellis

The public library of Salt Lake City is absolutely beautiful! The children's area is amazing with play rooms, tiny child-sized reading books, and huge stuffed animals to relax on. There's also sensory stations that would be good for children with sensory-related issues. There are small shops inside of the library, and they have anything you can imagine looking through from magazines to music and way more. Worth seeing!

ian kerr

fun for scooter tricks

Robert Gray

Visit Salt Lake's downtown library if you appreciate wide, expansive places, interesting architecture, unique and local art, and people watching. Free film series, interesting classes, children's library, comfortable seating, and some of the most educated and informed librarians in the state are just a few of the reasons to drop by.

Ibrahim Tawhari

Very dirty and full of dirty and dangerous people. Not safe environment at all.

Marina Bina

We're really lucky to have such a fantastic library system. From the impressive downtown library, to the local branches, slc library is a wonderful resource. If that's not enough, the online services are incredible. I'm not sure how you could improve it...it has everything!

Illia Wen

Beautiful building. Horrible WiFi. The building was exactly how you'd imagine a classy, futuristic library would like like. Plenty of desks with outlets and comfy chairs for reading. The staff was super nice but clueless on the wifi issue. The wifi was SO spotty the entire day working. It would go out randomly then show an error saying accessing my Gmail is restricted. Towards the end of the day, I was attempting to connect to WiFi for an hour. I even moved around the entire library and tried each floor. This library is the antithesis of all libraries. I ended up going to Dunkin across the street and the wifi worked fantastically.

Clifford King

The Salt Lake City Public Library is one of the most interesting buildings in Salt Lake City. It has unique architecture that is easy to spot, and hard to forget. Once inside, glass walls make the library look both futuristic and classic and an open and peaceful place to research, read, eat, or shop, while still feeling connected to the community, the city, and nature. Several boutique shops are fun to peruse and in the basement is a small art gallery and entrance to a theater where no doubt and interesting film or concert is taking place. Be sure to check out the constant events happening at the library. Outside there is a path to the top of the terrace where it offers spectacular views of the city. The grounds in general consist of fountains, gardens, bridges and an amphitheater. Many events occur here during the summer and it's always a blast! The library is situated next to the Leonardo Museum and the old City Hall. Both wonderful buildings that are of interest to locals and tourists alike.

Daniel O'Sullivan

Fantastic place! Staff extremely helpful

Nathan Gross

I was at the library for the annual Sundance film festival and attended a showing in the basement theater. The theater was a great venue and there is plenty of natural light throughout the structure. What strikes me as the most interesting or unique feature of the library is the little shops in vestibules along the edge; it reminds me of a modernized version of a traditional agora.

Jaman Oliver

Very huge, modern, awesome library. Staff is very helpful, getting a library card is painless and is free. It's a nice place to relax and read a book , or you can use their computers and get online, and it's all for free. There's shops down in the lobby area, where you can get a coffee, a haircut even. Definitely worth a visit.

Cody Eldridge

I am a huge library geek, I spend quite a bit of my free time perusing books, maps, and the like. This library is hands down the best I have set foot in. The view from inside of the mountains is spectacular! The beehives and rooftop garden are amazing to stroll in on a warm summers day. Even the automated checkout and return system is top notch. To top it all off you can get an app on your phone to keep track of holds, items checked out, and even download ebooks. This library is awesome and I cannot say enough good things about it. I am hooked for life!

Jon Agan

Great selection and beautiful building. Even has a rooftop garden to enjoy. With any public library in a city, yes there are homeless people about but they seem to stay to themselves and they should be able to enjoy the library just like everyone else. Although, a larger security presence might help put minds at ease as it seems many of these reviewers can’t be in the same space as someone who is homeless.

Rodney McKay

This library is a disgrace. Out of 5 floors of garbage, there is one tiny row dedicated to computer science. Very few shelves dedicated to science, mathematics, physics, or anything related to social technological progress. Yet there is entire room full of DVDs, entire floors dedicated to fiction and the subjects of history, religion (duh, it's a morning subsidised library), cooking, etc... Why?!?

Heather Nuffer

Such a interesting and comfortable place to hang out! Love the architecture and ambiance. I love browsing the used books on sale in the library store, too.

Le Fevre Showtime

The petite blonde at the coffee kiosk is as mean as a dog pissing tacks, but wow is she absolutely gorgeous. SLC is a.city that will slap u in the face with ' oh my good this is the girl Ive been looking for all my life' from one side of the block to the next. Gotta be something in the water and I wish my ancestors came here 100 years ago. And the library kicks tuchas to boot. Viva American Zion....4 real.

Heidi Franke

A great place but its 300 seat theater is not comfortable in anyway. The seats sit too close and leg room is worse than coach in an airline. I wish Sundance dropped this venue and found something more comfortable for screening great independant films.

Michelle M Tucker

A huge library with everything you can think of. Not as quiet because there are so many people. Staff is friendly and very helpful. The view of the mountains is amazing. It was very clean for the amount of people I saw using the library.

Alyson Douglas

Super cool and I hear they have bees on the roof in the summer.

Darnell Kebo

Wow. Visited the city for a day and had to check out the library; it's one of my favorite sights in a city. The grounds of this library is beautiful. Great views from the roof top terrace and the beehives were an added bonus. I loved the cute little hair salon, library store that sold used inventory from the library and local products, as well as the art gallery. Really cool building. Located along Trax free ride area.

schjoeke S.

During my hols in SLC last week also visited the Library. What can I say? WOW, what an amazing, beautiful, stunning piece of modern architecture! When I stepped inside my jaw instantly dropped

Erica Moscoso

So awesome! Huge selection, helpful staff and no late fees!

America Nishimoto

One of the most beautiful libraries I have ever been. Thanks to the huge windows, the entire library is very bright. There are good services such as printing and computer labs too.

Cody Harris

This place just gets worse every year. Mostly overrun by homeless people. This library has caused me to loose all faith in public libraries. Despite honest effort to keep the bathrooms clean the homeless people make sure they are absolutely disgusting! What a shame!

Todd Milne

It's a great place to gather your head

Patryk Glosowitz

A multi-story library with all of the books you could ever want, shops located inside, and a rooftop garden (with a small apiary) make this the best library I've ever been to! Not only that, but the staff is incredibly kind, informative and patient. This should be where you go this summer, as there's tons of events, ranging from rooftop yoga, to board game night!

Aster Gill

Knowledgeable staff. Great selection of books. DVD/CD/BluRay also available. Nice quiet place to study and read, children's level has play rooms. Building looks amazing and be sure to go to the roof to see the city views.

UFO Alpha and Omega Randy Seay

That is a great Library very big and spacious fairly new to had everything that I've been looking for and a whole lot more it took me years to learn how to read I suffer from a disability which I tried to turn into an ability and you're getting of a taste of it here with photographs I love art and all different types of medium I'm not that good at any of them but I keep trying and Ally Berry I said Library this dang machine helps me get there just cuz I can't read that good doesn't mean I can't look at pictures and I can read in the pictures just as well as I can words the library has a Great thing going

Jan-Michael Paul

Great building, wonderful architecture. Nice and clean with great selection of books, movies, CDs, etc.

Jack Henjum

They have WiFi, they have homeless people, they have good architecture. What more could you need? #blessed

Camille

I had my bridal photos done here and I loved how they turned out! Inside and outside. So many great back drops and plays with texture and patterns. Great garden area outside. I don't think we had to pay either. Which was a great perk. I can't say anything for the books though. I'll definitely be back for that purpose.

Colton Gardner

Amazing facility! The lower level children's section is spacious and fun for kids with themed reading rooms and computers. The upper floors have a wide variety of books and media with plenty of study and quiet space even if you are just downtown and need a place to get away. Staff is friendly and seem to enjoy their job. The small shops at the entrance also add a nice touch and the auditorium is large and beautiful. My only complaint is the high amount of homeless individuals who constantly hang out around and inside the library. No harm no foul though I suppose.

Rachel Smith

I love this library. Typically take the TRAX out to it. Tons of great spots to study. Great places to eat in and around the library. Great classical music performances. Yeah, there are quite a few homeless people around but they usually just do their thing and are respectful.

Kseniya Khvashchynskaya

Real cool building with great views, though many homeless people around.

Ro Chael

I remember I coming here as a kid when it first opened omg! I can't believe it's still up and running I need to make a trip here ASAP

Jon Butler

Great library - nice people

S K

Parking is not easy but you can pay if you need to stay pass half hour, Sunday is free. They don’t make it easy for surrounding neighborhoods to access their books, nor can you print for free. Building is impressive, second floor fiction and teen, 3rd floor foreign literature. For the houseless people, there could be some kind of educational outreach program for them here.

Perry Gould

This Library is one of the nicest in the nation it's very beautiful the homeless population is getting bad but otherwise you will like this place. It's a lot of fun if you have not been able to get there it's a must see !!

Kinwo Ng

This library is big and clean. Very nice looking inside. Things are pretty organized. Usually is quiet. And you can go up the wall it has a good view up there.

Dave M.

Beautiful library; however, it has become a homeless shelter as of late. I don't study there any longer, because I am tired of being asked for change. 5 stars for the library, 1 star for the actual library atmosphere.

Itsbuttars

Amazing Library. We love going to it. The kids area is big and has a lot of fun areas to explore. The bees and flowers on the roof are cool. There are some great areas for students and group studys. There are also some really good events there.

Kubomi

It's a beautiful building inside and out, amazing facilities and the faculty are stellar. One of the best libraries I've ever visited.

Mike B

Very very disappointing. Worst library in the valley. . The other day they had a snow day, didn't open at all. A snow day?? Mostly I drive out to a county library instead.
