REVIEWS OF Merrill-Cazier Library IN Utah

Matt Wheat

The Merrill-Cazier Library offers more than just a place to check out books for residents. It has a special collections section with rare books (including cuneiform tablets) and artifacts (like Old Ephraim's skull) to view. There are large sections of computers, scanners, printers to use. There are two 3D printers that are available to students, and they only charge the cost of the material which makes it super cheap. Study rooms can be reserved online, and you can check out markers at the desk to use on the white boards; most also include a TV. Art and history exhibits are frequently on display in the main hall and outside of special collections. In general, this is a fantastic place to study and gives students access to a myriad of resources.

Maintenance ended months ago but the "Quiet Study Area" are still laying on the floor. I'm so tired of rude people talking to their friends in the library, go some where else to socialize! Not to mention the fact the roof leaks.

Michael Hatch

Plenty of places and space to study and usually not overwhelmingly busy.

Erik E

Great library, one of the better university libraries around. Could it have any less comfortable chairs in the study areas though? They're the worse chairs I've ever sat in.

Casey Wood

Nice quiet place to study. There is a lot of room, friendly staff, and a good atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Stacie Amberson

I OJB would like to say that I like the convenience of making study room reservations through the library website. It is also of great value personally to find a place to myself during the weekends for research and paperwork. This is perfect for me.

Probably gonna pretty much live here when I start school

Laura Stoddard

Great, quiet place to study.

Erica Thompson

A beautiful library, however with only one public entrance it makes it harder to access. It's comfortable, clean, and very organized. The librarians are always there to help you.

Tanner Robison

Beautiful library. Lots of places to study, very quiet.

Bryon Gundersen

I love this place.

You should consider opening for longer on Saturdays.

Wide collection of newspapers arrive every morning. Private study rooms, group study rooms, you can reserve textbooks for three hours, you can check out white board markets, Mac laptops check out, windows laptops check out, computer labs, scanners, 3 day iPad checkouts. Online library catalog. Great library.

So awesome, came on a campus tour for my daughter and I was very impressed.

I love this library. I spend most of my free time here because of the large homework load I have, but it's so conducive to studying and to group collaboration that I don't mind it at all! I absolutely love the vast amounts of natural light on all sides, especially in the Atrium. There are many different spots to study: I can sit at a table, a booth, a desk, or in an armchair. Even during finals week I have always managed to find a spot to study. The group rooms are great too, and very easy to schedule. I work for the Computer Labs and have a shift at the Information Desk each week, and I can say first hand that the technology available here is top-notch. The internet is unbelievably fast, and the computers are constantly updated to have the best hardware available. I can't think of anything bad to say about this library. I'm just incredibly grateful to have such a great place to go to study and to work on homework. Go Aggies!

Let alone that it's a beautiful building it provides lots of nooks for quiet focused study. You can also rent out small rooms to collaborate on group projects.

Great library! Absolutely best place to study on campus. There are so many rooms you can rent, it's great! Very modern looking and the architecture is very nice.

State of the art college library. Not as large a collection of hard copy books as other universities, but hardly necessary when compared to the vast electronic book and journal database the library has access to. Very modern library and had a café to boot.

Jeffrey Michaelis

I practically live in the library between my classes. It is a secret but the quietest place in the library is the Government documents section in the basement. The only thing I hate about it is people who go into the quiet areas to have whispered conversations or when they are on their phones. Seriously use one of the many group rooms available.

Joshua Larkin

This is an amazing place to study and get homework done. USU's library is relatively new and the atmosphere helps create a great place to study, cram, or just chill and read.

Jordan Petersen

Seriously one of the best libraries I've ever been in. Amazing speed for internet, very nice modern touch and is very comfortable. I love the atmosphere there- I practically live in this building.

Dax Larsen

Great place for collaborative team work or independent study.
