Staff needs to be proactive and tell people there to be quiet. Went in there yesterday looking for a quiet place to read-so you would think, since that is why went to a library in the past!- and there was two tables of people constantly carrying on in conversation and some lady with her text alerts going off on her cell phone; when there is even a sign on the door that says to keep cell phones off while in the library. I left and went to Hayne's Park to read. The Taco Bell I went to for lunch prior was less noisy. Nobody seems to know how to behave nor has any respect for others in such environments. Wanna loiter, talk and carry on as so? Go to Starbucks: they encourage such behavior.

The librarians are nothing BUT helpful. They always help, whether it's looking for a book or video, explaining something about a library program, finding something on the web, and so much more. It's 1 hour per person on the computer, unless there is no one else waiting, then you can continue for another hour and so on until someone else is waiting. The few times that I have needed to use a computer, I either got right on one, or only had a short wait. That makes perfect sense and is perfectly reasonable, unless of course you are unreasonable, ignorant and inconsiderate of others, as the person complaining would appear to be. I always recommend people to go there if they need information, entertainment and so much more. They also have programs for children, teens and adults, along with the occasional meeting with government officials. I think the library is great and so much nicer than the old one.

Small library, children's section is large and the young adult, but if you want any more mature reading, you'll have to order it from another library. Place is well kept and has plenty of work space, librarians were harsh on a woman who was obviously homeless and was asking about a resource for the GED exam.
