I love this library but the staff needs tolearn to tell people when to lower their voice and a few of them need to learn to also speak lower themselves...it IS a library after all

Everytime I go to the north providence library this happens, someone is being rude to me or a child is bullying my 2 year old. I come here so my daughter can learn and do crafts and have fun. I live here in north providence but I usually go to the johston library because the people their are very polite and nice.. my daughter loves to play and every kid there are nice to her. So I AM NEVER EVER EVER GOING BACK HERE....

I am a handicap disabled 68 year old came to the N.Prov. library 7-19-2019 about 12:20 pm I used the men's room after I got out and went to the counter,in the meantime Gina had went to the men's room and then came to the counter and told me not to take the toilet paper out of the dispenser , I told her for 3 years I have talked to Liz about the Door opens inward and the toilet paper should be above the Bar. I had told Gina 2 1/2 months ago about Liz doesn't do anything and I haven/t seen Her in a while , Gina said she will see what She can do, Well today I found She can't do anything and probably doesn't care anyhow . I had told Liz 3 years ago that the door is a very easy fix , take the screws on the stricker, one on the inside and one on the outside take out and you can flip the stricker and put the screws back in .The hinge is the type that can open in and out if there was no stricker stop to stop it . It is VERY HARD for handicap people to try to bend and try to get toilet paper out , it is much easier for me to put my key in the hole on top and take the roll of tpilet paper out , Liz in the Summer of 2019 , a few times , one She accused Me of Stealing a Roll Of Toilet Paper and I told Her No i didn't , another time ask Me if I took it out of the toilet paper dispenser and I told Her Yes and told Her How many times have I asked you to do what I asked you and you did nothing , and I told Her I'm going to find the Person son I can Sue You .

I love this library, it has a big selection to choose from, and if you need to study there are two study/business rooms on the second floor that are comfortable and quiet. Always something new to read and just a great environment.

This library is very outdated. The staff is quite rude and not very helpful. The children’s section is so small. The bathrooms are always dirty.

At the Public Library Pool it is awesome and they everything you need like floaties ,boogie boards but the boogie boards are only for the lap lanes the Library also has a Hot tub a sauna and a gym so the the Public Library Pool is a great place to visit ,visit jow

Little Italy

Friendly staff. No federal publications. Has DVD and Blu-ray rentals. Has bathroom.
