If I could choose zero, I would. Went to this library to return some books and get a new library card. The skinnier, old woman at the front desk was rude to begin with.
Slamming her fingers down on her computer keys, throwing my license back across the counter to me, answering the phone as if the caller was asking SO much of her.
As I was looking around, a heavier, woman with blue glasses, who was older as well offered to help. She started to help look for a book about sewing. When she realized the library did not have it, she said they could have it transferred to them. The woman at the desk from before, AGAIN, acted as if it was something so difficult to do. She then asked which library.
When I told her the public library for Cranston, her and the heavier woman were rude and said "Well which one, where is that?!" I told them between Pontiac and Reservoir Ave. Not remembering the actual street name. They still could not figure it out and still acting as if helping me have it transferred was a chore. So after having enough of their rude attitudes, I told them no thank you, I will do it myself. The phone rang and the person was put on hold. The heavier woman looked at the other and said "do you think I can help this person?" In a sarcastic tone and took the call.
The other woman threw the books at me and said "Good luck with that."
DO NOT offer to "help" if it is rocket science to you to do so.
My opinion and takeaway, do not go to this library they are miserable and rude. They offer to help you but all they helped me with, was getting aggravated.
