What's the point of having a children's play area if the kids aren't allowed to enjoy themselves? I've been here several times (with and without children) and there's been 2 specific librarians that are constantly reprimanding these kids for being kids! You want them to engage in your play space? Let the kids play! There are 2 other great librarians that aren't abrasive and harsh when they need to call out the kids. I understand that its a library, but have a little tact when you're reprimanding a child.

All libraries are wonderful. This is one of my favorites because of the children's play room. There are games, puzzles for all ages, a variety of blocks and a playhouse at the center of it all. The staff is friendly and helpful. The library is cleanly and bright one of the best libraries in Rhode Island.

Nice people work there. Very helpful. The focus has changed from primarily buying books to loan I think. The system often lacks what I want to borrow. I there's more emphasis on family activities now. Times change. I miss the old ways at libraries. I spent a lot of time in them long ago. Future shock, I guess.
