This is a nice little library with friendly, helpful staff and lots of good programs for kids. There are a few toys and puzzles, as well as computers in the kids' area. The building is beautiful, historic, and well maintained. The selection of books and DVDs is on the small side.

Good library. They're small so don't have a huge selection and the non fiction section is always freezing. Also library computer use is limited to only one hour. But the fiction area has lots of windows and is warm.

On Tuesday June 26 2018 I visited the Wyomissing Public Library. Located in the heart of tree-lined downtown Wyomissing Borough, the Wyomissing library is open for business six days a week. I haven't been there in years and it was easy to verify my account. I enjoy browsing the extensive children's books section. I have always found something there to spark my interest. There is a computer room, a reading room with current newspapers, and a balcony where used books for sale are located. I have never had any problems parking there. When I use the library I simply park across the street. To return books after hours there is a slot in the middle door where items can be returned. I always check the new additions case. New fiction and non-fiction books are put there when they come in. The staff is friendly and helpful. The one thing I really enjoy while visiting the Wyomissing Public Library is that fact that the building is very quiet. It’s probably the quietest library in Berks County. The Library also has an extensive DVD and CD collection offering a variety suitable for most tastes. The building is old but it looks like it’s been well maintained. Stop in today.
