An awesome library with a great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, incredibly useful amenities, and a plethora of fun events. Movie nights, clubs, kids programs, and more. The book cellar is a stellar deal for voracious readers. My favorite place to hang out by far.

Just a little local library, but they work to keep the collection updated. The real fun is in going to the permanent book sale in the basement. You can get some interesting stuff at incredibly cheap prices.

I would like to see them update their books get newer relaeses I would like to be able to get them without signing up because transportation is limited

I love the public library and wish I would take advantage of all it offers the community more often. Beside the obvious book borrowing at the library, they also offer the public computers to use free of charge which was a life saver to me recently when I needed to use a reliable computer to submit important papers. I was really surprised when they said it was free to use too. Also they rent movies! And are extremely cheap to rent even the brand new release movies! They have a fantastic selection of movies there also.

I love the vintage feel of this free public library. The children's programs are THE BEST! Miss Kathy and Miss Sharon are phenomenal. They really care about the kids and do a wonderful job of cultivating a space for community togetherness. New Castle is fortunate to have them.

Such a wonderful library. I've been coming to this place since I was a little girl. The staff are all so wonderful. The children's programs are awesome especially the pokemon club.

The children were very excited to get library cards today. The librarian waited a full minute before even acknowkeging we were there and when I inforned her we'd like library cards she stared at me without speaking until I spoke again telling her we had brought our photo ID and 4 utility bills all dated from this month with my address on them. the very rude lady. sighed out loud and claimed that she couldn't issue us a card and said she needed a 5th envelope with a postmark on it even tho one of the 4 clearly had one and all of the bills were current. The other librarian looked very kind but the first gives your library a bad name
