They are helpful. They can be somtimes intolerant at checkout desk. Check the bookcellar downstairs. Very friendly and many books and treasures for sale.

This is one of (if not THE) best libraries in the South Hills. It’s clear Mt. Lebanon’s budget makes for better staff. They are professional, learned and bookish, and I’ve had many pleasant exchanges here. There is one person in particular with a delightful and infectious laugh. Smiling can’t be helped. This library is alive and bustling. There are frequently programs and activities for all ages, from your wee little ones to merely the young at heart. It’s truly a wonderful community to be a part of. My only complaint is not one which can be helped. While this library is beautiful and outfitted with outstanding resources, it’s a public space. There are a number of unsavory and unbelievably malodorous people patronizing this place. Stay upwind.

Most bougiest librarians I've ever met. Just my personal opinion. It is maintained well. Some of the librarians are very nice and caring and te media selection is broad. Thankfully there is a checkout kiosk to avoid the uppity librarians. I just wish I could pick up items requested from other branches without talking to them.

Amazing place. Great selection of books and movies, plus a good used book store. This branch in particular has A LOT of Great Courses DVD's from many different subjects, some of which come with a guidebook attached.

The library staff are friendly and helpful. There are various story times for kids throughout the week. The children’s section is huge and has a great selection of books. My kids love playing here!

They have everything that I need, and a little extra, like a little store downstairs where you can buy snacks,books and CD's, they also have quiet sections, thus a little courtyard to get fresh air. Quiet a unique library, with a high amount of interesting books, and decent computers. Their staff is decent. Great place to be with friends. Across the street is a middle school. Library is close to everything. The library is usually full around 3, because the schools dismiss around that hour, and the children go to the library to play on computers talk, and read! They also have courses/lessons everyday so you can learn something new! They open most of the year. Their shop downstairs is not open on Sundays, and the library only closes on government hollidays. Read! Computerize! And be happy!

I love libraries. I’ve made a habit of visiting them all over the country and this is one of my favorites. They have a very respectable board game collection and the staff has done good job of curating the broader collection of books and other items.

This is one of the worst libraries I have experienced in this country. Despite a budget to envy, ANY popular book comes in one copy so the waiting list can easily be 6 months long. Staff is rude; not just infriendly but plain irritated w/ patrons' presence. Databases are so 20th century that finding anything is near impossible. Simply put - a bad library.

I can't say enough good things about this library. Always clean and well maintained. The children's area has a great selection of books and the librarians are very helpful. Excellent selection of DVDs, audio books and video games. There is also a nice selection of board games to borrow a week at a time. The wifi here is excellent as well. Finally, if you haven't checked out the book cellar, there is a decent selection of very inexpensive books for sale.
