I can’t wait until the new library opens up. I’m hoping that they will keep up with the upkeep on the bathrooms because the main central library bathrooms are disgusting. They also need to be more observant of people around who are loudly talking on the phone when others come there as a quiet place to study.

I love this library. I come here to let my daughter play in the children's section quite often she gets a kick out of every activity especially the stuffed animal/puppet section. I also come here when I need a little break from home life or need to print shipping labels I haven't bought ink for my printer because I truly enjoy coming to the library to print labels and write a letter for sit in a quiet spot to read for a couple of hours without my little. It's a super convenient location about 5 minutes from home. The staff is super nice I especially love the children staff. all around great library I would rate it 10 Stars if I could!! Thought I'd also mention my daughter had an accident on her clothes and they had an extra set for her to wear! They accept donations

Physical holdings are pretty pathetic, but that is increasingly true of all libraries these days. A very good e-book selection, and the librarians are wonderful. This is truly a community place--a great children's area, activities, computer access, places to study, and meeting rooms. It sometimes gets a little loud for my tastes, but it's great that the public library gets so much use. Yes, you do get homeless people and some rather odd folks, but if they are not bothering anyone, what's the harm? Staff does keep on top of the truly disruptive.

This older facility actually has a cozy/homey feel to it. There are always people involved in most all activities. In the class/workshop rooms learning something, attending a childrens reading group etc. There are people studying at the open tables on one far end and folks at all the computers on another end. If I finish a fantastic book and am going through withdrawl, the employees are great at helping to find other books I may enjoy. There have been two books that they did not have. I asked at the customer service desk and they submitted them for approval and the library obtained them! This is one of those places that is easy to take for granted. It may not be modern chic' but it's solid. They only need to have a vending machine that has little cappuccinos, hot tea or cocoa, like many rest areas have. Small servings.

The Central Branch of the Norman Public Library is a bit of a home away from home for me. I work and live nearby, so I am able to go there often to get work done or browse the newest book releases. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and I bring my kids with me often. The childrens area of the library is simply fantastic, filled with a wide array of books and computers and activities for every age of kid to enjoy. The book selection is great here, and if they don't have something you want there is a better than good chance they will be able to get it from one of the other several libraries in the Pioneer Library System. My favorite things to get here are movies and comic book trade collections, both of which they have an abundance of. This is great library, and it'll soon be moving into a spacious, brand new, state of the art facility not even a block away. I can't wait!

I was here with my baby, toddler, teen daughter and her two cousins and my mom. The older girls were looking at books in the teen section. My mother went to grab them and noticed an older gentleman watching girls in thongs on the computer. As I was walking that way to say something, he got up with hand down his pants...asking us where the bathroom was. I told the security guy there and another lady and nothing was done about it. Will not be bringing my children here again.

A public library. It is outdated in my opinion. Looks old. I was in the quiet room. Staff was friendly but unsure of where power stations might be. So I found some in the quiet room. Several homeless making it a waiting area. Had a police officer in the workers area, seems like that might be common?

This library has the best kid's section! It's complete with toys for the kiddos to play with, computers for them to explore, and books for them to snag! Comfortable rocking chairs for the parents to sit on. This library has friendly staff. They have a separate computer room where they host programs abd they have a good selection of books to browse upon! This library is always a present experience!

Could be better. The staff is friendly, so no problem there. It can be fairly loud at times. Crackheads and the homeless go in and start swearing loud at the computers and no one seems to care.

I grew up volunteering in the Tulsa library system. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the Cleveland County system had a diverse selection and nice, clean facilities. Five stars for the massive ebook catalog.
