You will see the information of real people like you who know the services and products of Metropolitan Library System - Edmond Library (Library) in Oklahoma.
At this moment the firm has a rating of 4.4 stars over 5 and this score is based on 72 reviews.
You may have noticed that its rating is quite good, and it's based on a large number of scores, so we can be pretty sure that the score is very faithful. If people have bothered to give their review when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually stop to write evaluations when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Library is included in the category of Public library.
Really has changed over the years I'm impressed.
Amazing
This library is the best. They have a smart check in and out
I like Edmond library so much. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Just wonder if you can improve the speed of Wifi. Since I need to login some online medicine qbank and dedicated study. Unfortunately, i can only log in in the morning. Since lunch time, never working. I talked to the front desk, and both we thought it might be because high volume of usage in the afternoon. I appreciate!
All is good except only 16 computers
The librarians here are nice and very helpful. There's been quite a few times the library didn't have a specific book I wanted so the librarians went our of their way to help me try and locate the book at other libraries or locations. I have never had to wait to use a computer here and have always been able to get my copies in a decent amount of time.
Great library
Great science nights for the kids. I took them once and they were hooked!
Great library. Good selection and great staff!
I loved it. One of my favorite place in edmomd
Helpful staff, comfortable & quiet, usually not busy
Thank you so much for your summer reading program! My kids were so excited to participate. When we went to claim our prize at the end of the challenge I was thinking the children would receive a sticker or maybe a bookmark. NO! You would have thought my children won the lottery! They walked out of the Edmond library with not only a brand new book they got to pick themselves, but stickers, a bookmark, and a $6 fine waiver! We love all of your programs and appreciate all the wonderful things you do for our kids. Thanks again!
Enjoy the library but I wish staff could be a little quieter...after all it is a library!
Terrible. The staff is so loud and disruptive 90% of the time.
I love going to this library to study or read a book! It's quiet, and the environment makes it easy to focus on my work.
I love how helpful the staff are and ready to help or suggest a good book! The only downside is that a lot of good books are either checked out, have a hold or you you have to order from another library, but they're always on top of it.
Usually has facilities available that I need.
This is by far one of my most favorite libraries. It has a separate kids section with the kiddos always love. There media center for the computers is very nice and it's very clean inside. Sometimes I wish the staff would speak to parents of kids who are being too loud but it's nothing too crazy most of the time.
The librarians in the kids' section are amazing! I take all 4 of my kiddos in regularly and there's lots for the Littles to do while the bigger kids are looking for books. The librarians helped my 10 year old find books on the Titanic (she even walked her over to the adult section with my permission) and then helped my 8 year old find some books based on other series he has enjoyed in the past. We love this library.
A really reliable library always is there when u need your homework finish
Great place to build your success! I love to visit this library on daily basis to read and prepare for my MBA courses. Perfect facility, kindly staff and cosy ambiance. Note: the reading room is a little bit hot during summer. Thank You!
Great hometown library with good technological resources, friendly staff, and a good variety of books. They even have graphic novels here! A good place to take kids or get some quiet work done on your own.
My favorite library!
I think possibly the only downside is that the library is so busy at times you have to wait for a lot longer because the popular books and series are always checked out! I still love the library and am getting my brother there too. I love the library and hope they also get more online book copies and books in general. Thanks for giving me so much fun!
Greatly disappointed with staff. I reposted a problem with Skype which I use for meeting with my study partner 2 weeks ago, and the lady up front gives me hateful look when I go back and ask why the problem has not been solved. This is the second time this year, when something happens to the library Internet protocols or whatsoever, last time it took them 2 weeks and 2 attempts for me to approach staff and insist them to contact IT team in front of me. Probably today I have to go back third time and make sure they call, and not just dispose their sticky notes. I deeply apologize, but ya'll are lazy and careless. (In contrast staff in NW library is much more easier to communicate and solve problems with).
The Edmond Library is great for their staff!! The employees are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional! I Love the Edmond Library... It's a place you can dream!
Helpful librarians know every inch of their library
No fortnite on the computers
I adore the Edmond Library! They provide exceptional customer service, and they go out of their way to serve and meet everyone's interests and needs. I love the sense of community when I visit the library. I always leave with a smile. I have never written a review before today, but I felt like I needed to after having such a positive interaction with a staff member on the phone. Today I spoke with one of the most helpful and kind staff members about an issue I was having with my account and checking out items, and he made me feel as a patron that I mattered. I wish I would have written down his name, so I could personally thank him on here. I just wanted to thank you so much for serving our community in such a positive way and making a difference. :)
Love this library. We go to it alot because it's close enough to walk to. It is always very clean and not to busy. The kids area can sometimes get loud but hey it's a kids area. The adult section is very quiet, almost like your in two different libraries!
Very happy with the library. Everything is well organized and I have never had a problem getting help when needed. The children's area is constantly changing for the better. It is nice seeing different books being highlighted and all the programs offered. There truly is something for everyone.
The staff have a great actittud and they also welling to help the people. Thank you
Staff is always very friendly and go out of their way to help you at all times! The library is always clean, well lit and at a comfortable temperature year round. Their pick-up location for library materials you place a hold on is right up front and quick! Their self check-out makes it so fast to get out after you have selected your items to borrow.
Top notch
They are all do nice in the children's area!
I use to come here all the time. Good selection of books, nice staff, nice facility.
It sounds awsome i cant wait to try it
Great place free wifi, plenty of space and chargers open pretty late on most of the week.
I love it. The staff is very helpful. The resources are great. The groups and classes they offer are great. The Edmond branch library is great. I've gone to the library my entire life and continue to go as an adult. They have great suggestive reading and kids section.
Awesome staff always friendly and available to help you with a smile. We got our library cards here were super fast and easy. ESL, Citizenship and other classes are also available at this library.
It is hot in that library.
I'm from Taiwan l just came here for two months the librarians are very friendly to me I hope I can comeback next summer✌
Friendly staffs and a clean, safe and quiet place to study.
Nice, quite environment perfect for studying . They have a separate area for the kids that has interactive computers, a few toys, and plenty of children's books.
The best library I've been to. Great and big selection with an easy self check out/return system. No waiting for assigned computers, you just walk right up to one. Wonderful kids area with a huge selection, lounging areas, kids computers, toys, etc.
I found a very quiet room to sit in while studying but then a staff member came in and informed me that the particular room I chose to sit in was for group study only, and even though there wasn't anyone else scheduled to use the study room I had to leave and find somewhere else to study. How much sense does that make? Enforcing a policy just because it's policy, not because it makes sense or not. I wasn't preventing anyone else from using the room and I sure as hell wasn't causing any problems. Once I left the room it was completely empty again. What a sorry public library!
I remember spending so much time in this library as a kid. Now I get to take my kids. The new tech is breath of fresh air. Always friendly staff.
Great...would like it if it was quieter and more variety on books but all in all great place, we come here weekly
It really fun
Interesting place
I love being able to search books from home then just go pick them up...great system. Everyone on staff is so helpful ..nice people. I like that they remember me.
Perfect place for study. Great Wide variety of topics of books to choose from. Very Kind staff.
We pay for this with our taxes but they are extremely unwelcoming to open debate, do not allow controversial books and will not let you put fliers in the place where people are allowed to put fliers. If you donate a book, they will take it but will tell you immediately if they don't like the title that it will go into the trash or be sold at the friends of the library book sale. If you have something they don't like written on a tee shirt you might be asked to leave. If you have anything on a poster you cannot come into the building and are required to stand a distance away from the entrance, For example if you do not like fluoride in your drinking water, that is too controversial a topic. If you thought 9/11 was an inside job, then you are a dangerous terrorist I don't use the Library anymore. When I was growing up we spent a lot of time in the library. It was hard to find the good books, you just had to be lucky. Reading a really good book is like walking around in somebody's head. You can walk around in the heads of geniuses and really improve your mind. Where I grew up libraries were enormous, they welcomed all kinds of books, not just those that were politically correct. And politically correct has become very restrictive. The Establishment cannot stand any whiff of criticism. Our library is extremely politically correct But I have to say that the staff is generally polite. Polite but firm. They do not allow you to enter with a t-shirt that is critical of fluoridation.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Very disorganized, no one is helpful, it is very hard to find anyone to help you. Nothing is labeled to where books can be found.
