I've been going sporadically for the last 17 years. It's a fantastic place. I agree with the woman who posted 2 years ago about noisy, disrespectful kids who are there only because their parents didn't know what else to do with them. I know in today's society, God forbid we use a perfectly good village to help raise a child. It's sad that I can't step up and say firmly but nicely to a twelve year old (who ought to know better than to purposefully act out in the lobby with her friends), "Please stop yelling and making noise just so everyone will notice you. People are trying to focus in here," without fearing retribution from somewhere. I believe library staff has every right to say, "If you can't respect other people by being civil, you'll have to go elsewhere." Seems like this rule should be enforced consistently. It's an ongoing problem with pre-teens and older teens. That said, I agree there's a fantastic variety of books, audio, video, computers, wifi accessibility, etc. I also want to praise the events/classes/activities for adults. I'd love to see more tech classes geared toward people who have basic knowledge and want to take it further. Older people don't necessarily understand that they can get a library book on their ipad or Nook or whatever, and it isn't self-evident how to do this. Thank you for being a great library.

The staff is always helpful, the layout is beautiful. There are so many books and a great system for book sharing with other libraries in the state. I wish the "Cell Phone Zone" were more strictly enforced and that there were signs posted upstairs in the library proper to remind people to be quiet.

Great place to spend time at. So many different things to do here. Large book section along with a large dvd/blu ray/music section. Plenty of computers to use and printing is made easy. Thank you Westerville Public Library!

I love the layout of the library! Easy to use and find what you need. The staff are very helpful and nice. I love coming here to schedule an event, finish up work, and just relax in a quiet area.

I visited it and check out stuff there since I was 12. It's great place to use free WiFi or checkout vies and books for any occasion. I like that they even have a place where you can purchase items on your way out.

This is also one of the best library I have visited in Columbus. It’s so big and so spacious and also very calm. This library got teen section, kids section, music, gaming, home work all of them. It’s very neatly and cleverly arranged. The structure and hoardings are really nice and gives lot of knowledge. Kids will enjoy as there are so many things to do. It has nice views at the end as this is next to busy road so will enjoy your time here.

My daughter loved going to the Library while her brother is at school. There is so much to do and play with at this library. There are always plenty of other kids playing. It’s not like the library of old where you had to be super quiet and not food/drink. The kids play and make noise, there is a little cafe to buy snacks and drinks, it’s a lot of fun for the kids.

This library has been one of Ohio's best, but the move of the Adult Computer Lab to a cramped space next to a window across the second floor is inappropriate. People talk loudly on cell phones there. A person spilled food on me (computer station separating walls are now nonexistent), men and women slam things on computer tables and forcefully bump into seated patrons without apology. A middle school boy slammed into me with his backpack and gave me a dirty look - he should be in the youth computer lab downstairs! Two girls lay across the table of the Apple computers, laughing loudly - no peace and quiet and I could not get to the computer; staff would not help. Library staff talks very loudly and ignore problems in the Adult Computer Area, while a very fat law enforcement guard spent at least one hour draped over a second-floor railing, concentrating on social media on his smartphone. What is going on in this library!? We deserve better - we at least deserve some good service. -- Dr Daniel Ritchard

I’ve lived in Westerville all my life and I’ve seen this place change time and time again to keep up with all the changes in technology and the needs of the community. I take full advantage of the extensive selection of movies, my wife may checkout some movies or music and my daughter takes advantage of an excellent selection of books. The mobile app and website are great ways to request items and there are so many other online services they provide that I haven’t even used. I can request a movie online, receive an email it’s on the self-service shelf, walk in, pick it up and checkout in less than 3 minutes. The resident of Westerville help pay for this place, so we should take full advantage of all the services they provide. The Westerville Public Library is another reason why Westerville is a great place to live.

A great big library, with a ton of resources and a fantastic staff. Basically anything you could want, they can get it :) Its also a great hideaway if you want to get out of the house on a rainy day, and has a huge young adult and children's section in a seperate wing where I spent a lot of time in my youth. Can't recommend it enough!

My kids love story time, rhyme time and the little kids play space. My 3-year-old son especially loves driving the school bus and police car. They also have magnets, puzzles, a little play kitchen, and kid-friendly computers.

I am a student at OSU. We have plenty of libraries on campus, none of which I use. I drive all the way to Westerville everytime I need to study, because this library is so great. This place is huge with all the extras. I like to walk in, get a Starbucks coffee, and go upstairs to a private table to study. Free WiFi makes thing easier, with a strong signal always available. Please, support this library, it is the best around.

This is an expansive, modern library that is sure to have nearly any book you're looking for. This library provides study centers, console video games, audio books, DVDs, reference material, and fictional literature for all ages. Check-out and book drop-off are both convenient, and the expanded parking is a must (also well-implemented for the space). I can no longer count how many times I left this library happy with a stack of books under my arm, and returned happier with the knowledge I learned and worlds I'd explored. The books are well taken care of and the staff are great. I couldn't recommend this location enough!

Sounds exactly as a library should. That is to say there is NO sound at all. :P Seriously though, this library is very modern, has a excellent floor plan (which is likely part of the reason for there actually being quiet "quiet study" sections), and is simply packed with material. Awesome library.

Fantastic library. The physical collection is extensive and is complemented by access to the OhioLink network. I love that they are part of three different ebook lending networks (OverDrive, 3M, and hoopla), both for the selection and the relative ease of getting the books I want (hoopla is not great, but the other two more than make up for it, too). Really appreciate the convenience of the drive-thru window, too.

Westerville Library has always been a wonderful resource for all different types of media but They upped their game tremendously. You can get books, magazines in different languages, great movie and CD selection, audio books, WiFi devices, learning kits for kids, plus much more. They have also recently added a one-person recording booth, 3-D printer, and they have various classes, computers, semi-private studying areas, and author talks. Wonderful place.

I grew up using this library and the public libraries I've used across the US have paled in comparison. Westerville's computer lab is actually quiet and provides ear phones and more than enough computers. It's a relief to have a library that is quiet enough to focus in, actually has the books and movies I'm looking for, and is open long enough into the evening that I can leisurely use it. The layout is easy to navigate and the design is aesthetically pleasing, too.

図書館にナビをセットして出かけたところ、住宅地が急に拓けてかなりお洒落な街並みになったのでビックリしました。 まるで映画のセットのようで、徒歩で楽しむ人もたくさんいて気持ちの良い場所でした。 全長200mほどに連なるお店全部がとにかくお洒落。 図書館もその一角にあるだけあって、小さいながらも素敵な佇まいでした。 一見すると駐車場がないように見えますが、図書館裏手にきちんと用意されており50台くらいは停められたと思います。ただ、日曜午後に訪れた時はほぼ満車でした。
