One day I told to order the hunger games movie and they would not silver it right instid they give a book then after the 2sec time they gave a book reader then I had to call the boss of the place and told them I was done after I get the movie and watch it I'm not coming back for a long time till I get a sorry so I'm going to a other library because of there dumb eddeits say sorry I now have to ride my bike all the way to piqua or tipp city now boy I am mad

Home away from home. I adore this place. All the librarians are great, their selections are current.Pros: They are very responsive to suggestions. I like the fact that you can reserve books from the entire Dayton metro system. Cons: I do miss the paintings you used to be able to check out though. And someone needs to get current with the music selection. Pretty lame. They need longer hours for the book sale. 3 o clock??? Really???. What about people who got off work at 4 or 5???.

Amazing library! Very clean. Friendly staff. This library has a larger selection of DVD's for checkout than other libraries in the area. Many times they have the newest DVD releases available for checkout. I am a movie and television junkie, and have stumbled upon hard to find movies here. One of the best libraries in Ohio in my opinion.

Very disappointed with our experience. NOT kid friendly at all. Librarian in the children's section was not very friendly or welcoming. It will be worth our drive to go to a different library. We will not be back.

All in all one of the nicest libraries i know. However, the CD collection has never been managed properly. They need someone who knows music to come in and properly categorize the cds. Ballet does not belong with Country!

I just recently moved a block or two away, and was very excited to be able to walk to the library because I love to read. Today was a nice day, so I decided to take a walk with a friend and check out the library along the way. I walked in and wanted to explore the building and decided to go down the staircase which is open and towards the center, so I figured there were some additional areas downstairs. Turns out there isn't anything down there, and I was just about to head back up when some employee had followed us down like we were some hooligans and told us to go back upstairs. What did he expect we were going to do? I was friendly enough and tried to explain that it was my first time at the library and was just looking around, but I already felt totally unwelcome and decided to leave. I won't be coming back.

This is an excellent library. I have been a member for years and they really can't be beat. They have a huge selection at the library itself, and are connected to the Dayton Metro Library System, so they can inter-library loan just about anything. The staff are friendly and helpful!
