I was going to the library and I left my card somewhere so u made a new one and said I had to pay 24 dollars from a book I got in 2013 and once I got my new card I couldn't even use it that day. This library sucks

Love this library! Usually very quiet on the weekends which is ideal but in the certain cases where people have been loud- the staff has been extremely attentive in preventing any issues. Fortunately, the study rooms and meeting rooms are very accessible especially for booking in advance. Staff in this location is always very accommodating and helpful if you need any assistance and this is a good location for lots of places to sit and do work.

Absolutely love the new look of the library!! They kept the old beautiful front and added the new to it in a way that blended wonderfully!!! The inside is now clean and fresh and well lit. The computer lab is so nice. They have meeting/classroom space. They offer free classes. They have scheduled events that are fun for everyone! The staff are always cheery and so helpful. I can not say enough good things about the library. If you haven't tried it in a while, especially since they remodeled, try it now! The parking is also spacious and plentiful! They have handicapped accessible doors! Tax money well spent!!!!!

I've lived all over the country and have always been a devoted library user. I've never seen a library with the employee turnover this one has. In the slightly over a year I've been in Ashtabula, nearly every helpful and knowledgable person has disappeared. People seem to come and go with the lunar cycles! It's disconcerting and leaves a bad impression about the place. That said, the building is beautiful! The fiction collection is so-so. Every book I want--newer or older--has to be requested from another library, but on the plus side that is usually quick. I've started checking online (where I find that tons of OH libraries have the book I want, just not this one) and doing the request myself rather than wasting a trip in to town. So, middling rating. Doesn't totally suck and it is pretty but could be better.

I have been listening to audio books for years and this library has an unbelievable selection! The new addition being built is beautiful!!! Friendly staff and free computer classes for those who need it.

It's always extremely clean and organized. The staff are wonderful to deal with there always very helpful when it comes to things. There are so many accommodations for everyone's different needs.

The library itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, people off the streets use this as a camp out all day. It's deterring because they are rude and smell terrible. Staff does nothing about it. They sit near the kids area and stare at the children. Very uncomfortable feeling.
