The staff are helpful. I usually reserve materials online and pick up at the hold area, so my visits are brief. Children's department meets our needs. I would like to see self check out. And the check out limits on media seem a little conservative.

The Fargo Public Libraries in general are fantastic; the Dr. Carlson variant is great in particular because of the ease of experience when going there. I can honestly say that getting books from the Dr. James Carlson branch is the easiest it's ever been in comparison to other libraries in the area (notably a particular one in the "West Fargo" domain) and others I've been to in the past. Past the experience, the book (audio books as well), movie, game, and magazine assortment there is very substantial for the space that they have, and there is easy access to the computers there at any given time.

The staff here is super helpful. I love being able to put things on hold online so that it’s a quick and easy pick up. My kids also enjoy hanging out at the library reading books, using the educational computers, and exploring books.

The staff is always friendly and helpful! If your computer is down, the public library is a safe and neutral spot to work on any project. Many choices of reference materials are available at your fingertips, in many different fornats. Hard copy print is my personal favorite! What's yours?
