I started taking my 6 year old grandson Xander here for the summer reading program. Once we started coming... We got involved in all the other summer programs that they have been offering and me and my grandson ( and his great grandmother Linda Ball ) have been having a great time!! Xander has been learning how to make so many homemade instruments and such and enjoying music and animals and best of all... Making new friendships!! The staff there is so great with the children... Kendall, Chris, and the others are just so willing to stop what they are doing to listen to what a child wants to ask of them... It's great. I hate that school is about to start back up because I know that Xander won't be able to come to the library very much once it does!! Thank you... Lowell Library Staff.. For all the fun and kindness that you have shown to us this summer. YOU BETTER BELIEVE YOU WILL SEE US AGAIN NEXT SUMMER.... OR, AROUND CHRISTMAS BREAK IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING GOING ON THEN. GOD BLESS TO ALL!! ( I also need to add that even though this library may be a little smaller than some.. Like I said before.. The staff here is great! ) There are not only the books.. But alot of activities that children all the way up to teens can do here. They have several computers set up with video games on them. They have tables set up for coloring, Legos, crafts, just all kinds of fun stuff. IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO DO... YOU OUGHT TO COME OUT AND TRY THIS LIBRARY OUT.. YOU MIGHT NOT WANT TO LEAVE...I KNOW THAT SOME DAYS I HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING MY GRANDSON TO LEAVE!!

This is one of Gaston’s smaller loacations but the staff is wonderful and they still offer a very good selection of books and other things. This one is my favorite location and I love how the back is setup for children to be able to be creative. They usually always have events going on that are fun and educational for the kids, I might also add they offer events for everyone of any age.

Small with limited selection, but super friendly. Also, there's a 3D PRINTER here!

Enjoy the care giving to each person. Small libraries are much more personal. They can get any book you want giving a couple of days. My favorite place in Lowell.
