If I could give this place a 0 star I would. The type of discrimination I've exhibited from staff at this place was profound. This place is not at all kid friendly!! My daughter was extremely quiet and we received a complaint from a caucasian gentleman. I politely told the staff that I would leave after printing but that I wasn't sure why they received a complaint.because my daughter was not distracting nor was she making any noise. The staff DID NOT HEAR MY CHILD because she was not loud AT ALL. However, the staff did not decide to give me the benefit and treat me as a HUMAN they only went off of the mans perception of me and my children. I am currently pursuing my Master's in Social Work and look forward to returning to the facility to educate staff on cultural competency. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED THAT EVEN THE PUBLIC LIBRARY IS NOT A "PEACEFUL" PLACE IN SOCIETY TODAY.

The Spring Lake Library does not alow people who live in Harnnet County to check out books.I got my library card from the Spring Lake Library and so did my mother however they still did not allow us to use it.If you live in Harnnet County then they will charge you $25 to get a Spring Lake Library card.If you live in Harnnet County I advise you dont go to the Spring Lake Library.

Love going to this particular library because, although it is not as big as the others in this county, I am able to find what I need. In the event that a certain book is not at this location, I can always put it on hold and someone from the staff will notify me that the book has come in. All of the staff members are very friendly as well as helpful and greets everyone with a smile as soon as one enters the library.

Very clean environment, they have so many activities to do for kids in the library now, they also have a great selection of books for children an adults. They are very friendly people an will help with anything. There story time is a lot of fun as well. We moved here 3 years ago an this library has been my home library. Oh and did I mention they have abc mouse as well on the computers!

I love this place except that they are closed on Fridays. That seems to be the only time I need to go there and then they are closed. Please start being open at least half a day or something. Especially during the summer.
