REVIEWS OF Leesville Community Library IN North Carolina

Five stars for the staff!!!! Very helpful! They go out of their way to solve any problem you might have. Suggestion to the architect of the next community library: when designing the layout, remember that children have younger legs than adults. Put the children's corner in the BACK of the library and the adult section in the front. That way their young voices won't be as loud for adults who are reading/browsing. And when I am in a rush to pop in to choose my next good book to read, I do not have to go all the way to the rear of the library. Obviously a woman did not design the layout of Leesville Road Community Library!

Small library with nice working space. Small downside, can't use the computers unless you're library card is a wake county card. With a playgroup next-door, it makes it perfect for kids.

Jordan Miller

Don't go to this library if you want to do work in a quiet place. Children are very noisy, and there are no quiet spaces.

Johnita Ware

My daughter and I have been going to this library since she was a toddler and she is now nine years old. They have always been so nice and helpful. They have great programs for the kids and staff has always been so warm and friendly. We love Leesville Community Library!

Owen Smith

Nice place to just sit and relax with a book.

Robert Walker

Wonderful small library. One can sit and read while looking out the large windows at the beautiful changing leaves.

Melissa Dehnel

My kids like visiting this library after school then playing at the park afterwards. Good kid selection of books.

Donivan&Denise Jordan

Friendly staff, great view, VERY noisy. I'm guessing there's no separate room for the young kids. I've noticed this about Raleigh in particular, why is this?

Nice local library, very friendly staff!

Very nice library. It is a bit on the small side but their lounge area has a very pleasant view of the forest. The WiFi is remarkably good. Its I great place to sit down and get work done, provided you can tollarate a small amount of chatter here and there.

Leesville Community is a very small library that has a few books on hand and as the name implies: it's got a community focus. My favorite things about this library are the events for kids, the playground, the nature trails and being able to pick up/drop off books close to my house. Sure, it's not as big as Cameron Village or North Regional, but you can always request books and pick up at Leesville.

Staff was very unhelpful. I went to print out a paper. Each page is 25 cents. The copies came out in the wrong format, which was not my fault. The librarian said that I had to pay again to have my papers printed properly. This was double what I expected. The staff is really robotic and not very helpful.

This is my closest Library but would come to this location even if I move far far away. I have to say they really take care of us. We are a family of avid readers, and request all sorts of books and help. The staff is always happy to show us how to obtain more benefit from their services. Whenever there is a book they don´t have, they willingly search it elsewhere for me and I have been able to read my favorite authors in spanish without visiting B&N once in more than a year. It is amazing how my daughter asks me to go to the library, she feels confortable and welcome there.

Carter Smith

Great local library. Friendly staff and good selection. There are a lot of children's activities so make sure to check the schedule before going if you are looking for a quiet space to read or study.

Amy C

This is a wonderful community library! The selection is not huge, but you can request interlibrary loans from other Wake County Libraries. This location is tucked away with a beautiful view of the tree line. It is a must-visit place in the fall!

JoAnn Favitta

The location is beautiful and peaceful. It is fairly new and has computers and work areas. The staff is friendly and helpful

Brian Riviere

Nice new library. They are strict about having no drinks. But not strict about the noise level. Very hard to hear your self think. If your looking for a quiet library try somewhere else.

The library is way too loud this summer, like am trying to study and their are little kids singing nursery rhymes with their teacher in an open space with is really distracting. I can't concentrate, they need a room to sing not an open space.

Kristina Lugo

Not getting much privacy/concentration when I hear a 2 year old running up and down the isle, playing with the mouse of a nearby computer and the scanner for books while the mother is doing absolutely nothing. Need to have stricter policies about children under the age of 10 here.

Juliette Combs

Great story time program. Great selection of books.

Christian

great library, but is way to loud to study.
