Best place in Sanford!

If I could give a negative review I WOULD GIVE THIS LIBRARY A -8653. This library has the noise equivalent to the New York sub station! Somehow the quiet zone is louder than the New York City streets and the staff did absolutely NOTHING to quiet anyone down. The staff themselves were loud, clanking on things and wheeling annoying carts around. Worst experience at this library, NEVER COMING BACK

Staff is accommodating, most friendly. Very clean and organized, easy to get to, large library. Take-out time is long and very fair. Community-based atmosphere with many computers to use, reference material, movies, children's area, reading programs, and more...

They have one of the largest collections of LARGE PRINT books that I've seen.....and I have library cards in 6 different library systems covering 4 states, not counting my alma mater's library. ALSO...the staff is excellent - very helpful

The staff is so sweet and kind!!! They have the largest amount of variety in books!! I just love every bit of the library, including the computers. The place is quiet and cozy!! I can get lost in a book there anytime!! Love this place, I would say it was my favorite place to go!!!

Compared to the 50 or so libraries I’ve been to, this one is just sad. Small, old, musty. Not cozy and modern. The staff seems to be retirees of the DMV. There’s always a technical reason they can’t help you.
