This rating is because of one employee. We are there 3 times a week and have loved it until today. We were in the kid section and knew they closed at 5, my husband felt sick and went to the restroom over nausea four minutes before . He left at 5:01, listening to the woman telling me she had places to be and he should her been out by now and everyone is waiting for him. She embarrassed him and was absolutely rude!

This is one of my favorite places on earth~ It's a wonderful building with kind and helpful staff and a very wide variety of books, movies, music, and resources for the community! I used to come here after school as a safe space to study or wait for friends/family~ I like to visit whenever I'm in town, I still have my library card I signed when I was 6.

Hendersonville County Library is a clean and well organized small town library. The genealogy room has a great selection of reference books and a couple of computer terminals for online research. There is usually a live person on site to help too.

I've used the Etowah branch of HCPL for more than a decade and have been very pleased with the staff and accommodations. They can get me any book I want, usually within a few days if it's not on site. They are always polite, friendly, and helpful. While downtown Hendersonville parking can be a trial, I've not had a problem at the library there.

I can't even get inside to see what it's like. I'm sick of driving around in circles looking for a place to park. It's a nightmare.

This is a GREAT library... what I call a "big" little library! The kids library area is a library unto itself, the media room is well stocked, there are a lot of scheduled events and classes, a free magazine exchange, they're well "computerized" as far as checking out items, and the online version is just as fabulous. We very much enjoy it in our family.

This is a fine library, especially given the size of the community it services. The books are interesting and surprising; the staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and kind; the building is welcoming and receptive; and there's plenty of parking in the library's lot and the overflow lot across the street. As a person forever deeply involved with books, I give this library a full positive rating.

The most noisy library I’ve ever visited. They even use a PA system for annoying announcements. Are you kidding me? Great selection of videos and audiobooks. Helpful staff. Good parking. Update 5 months later. Still noisy.

A great place to go and relax and read a book and not worry about getting bothered and has a very wide selection of books and children books and movies . Don't have to worry about bringing your family there
