Friendly staff. A great place for learning

I have been a patron of this small town public library for 10 years. It is networked with another small library in Hudson, NC and the main branch in Lenoir, NC. Get a card and use the online account to find the book or other media you're looking for from you computer. Anything in the local system can be moved to another branch in a day or so. The best-kept secret is that you can also inter-library loan items from libraries throughout North Carolina to Granite Falls. When you stop in to browse around or pick something up on hold you're going to meet the friendliest and eager-to-help staff you could hope for. It must be part of the Librarian DNA (lol).

I go to my Lil' Granite Falls library at least once or more a week. The staff are more than willing to help me research articles of publication/very knowledgeable of information I need for my literary projects. Not only is the library quiet and clean but the enivronment is very relaxing and peaceful.

It is a satellite library so the selection is a bit smaller But the staff makes up for it with their service by getting you whatever books you want or need through inter library loan. They know their stuff and are willing to help.

I have been a regular visitor at Granite Falls Public Library since 1997 when my oldest daughter started reading. Now my youngest son is 8 and going into 4th grade at GFES. I am still a regular patron of the library. The staff are exceptionally helpful. Being a smaller branch, they do have a smaller selection of books. However, the staff will find what you are looking for at another branch and let you know by e-mail or text when it ready for you to pick up. Everyone should take advantage of public libraries and instill the love of reading in their children at a young age to ensure their success in school and their future.

It is a small library, but the staff are wonderful people. They have a lovely pirate ship play area for children as well. If they don't have a book you are looking for, you can request it and they will try to find you a copy from another library.

I am thrilled to have found a first rate library in this area. The library offers friendly smiles a good section of books and movies. Overall, I am impressed with the Caldwell County Public Library System. I wish my home county's system was this good so I didn't have to drive so far!
