Libraries are a essential need for our community. It is a place where our children go for refuge and where we come together as a community to feel comfortable and have a place to go too to gather and learn new thing it is a crucial place for our community. This library needs to be open seven days a week it is crucial

This branch of the library is phenomenal. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you. They are knowledgeable without being stuffy. I can't help but thank them for all the work that they do. Not only do they help Durham county residents but people from out of state as well

Just fantastic! Deserves more stars. Friendly and helpful staff combined with everything you need. I particularly love being able to place items (books, DVD's, sound recording, etc) .. on hold. I rarely even walk up the stairs. Your notified by email or text when items are ready and you just go pick them up. Makes every library in tDurham at your fingertips. Fantastic!

Definitely a great place to go and relax and enjoy the world of literature...You will find some amazing books here, and the Internet access is wonderful so you can also use it as a place to do some of your own work as well. The staff here is truly great and definitely supportive of those that visit this facility.

This is the Library that is located in downtown Durham. It has 3 levels. They have a lot of programs for the community and for teens. It isn't quite as nice as the other libraries but you can get the job done.
