Our library is fantastic. The new building is extremely functional, and a pleasant place to sit and read...it's a quantum leap above the old Parkwood branch! I'm a big fan of libraries in general, and the staff of the South Regional Library never disappoint.

Pretty solid library. It's a newer building. It's nice and clean. The staff is friendly. The selection of book is ok, but could be better. It's in a good location.

GREAT, beautiful library but bogus room reservation system. For as small a library this is, it wouldn't be hard to implement a "use it or lose it" method for allowing patrons physically present to grab a room if needed. Seats and working areas are at a premium and I spotted several unused rooms that were "booked". It's not a system that encourages people to reserve and show up.

They have one of the most condescending prickish librarians I have ever had to deal with. If you go on or near any time during voting you will be instantly harassed as soon as you step out of your car.

I really enjoy visiting this location. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The resources there are endless and it's just a nice relaxing atmosphere. I check out books and movies. There are plenty computers available for use, and sometimes I thank my personal laptop and go there to work because of the peaceful environment. I love seeing the children there utilizing the library.

Wonderful library! Lots of space and community activities. They're branching out into e-readers, too. My favorite, though, is that you can request a book online, they will pull it for you, and all you have to do us run in and check it out. Great for people in the go!

I can see why this library is voted #1. The is sooo much to love !! In summer, they have great reading programs for both youth and adults. Large selection of books, and many current ones, that would have to pay $20.00 ++ on Amazon. The have nice meeting rooms for just about anything . Easy parking , and right across street is a fabulous Polish deli, which makes outrageous sandwiches. They also have a fair number of DVD's to watch, and again, current movies as well. A special shout out to Jessica and Rebecca, who truly go the extra mile, especially when helping me. : - )

A beautiful atmosphere, with very nice working staff. I just wish there was more outlets for people with their laptops. I walked around and there’s only like 5-6 tables through this whole library that you can sit at for an outlet which most of the time people already beat you to them.

Excellent community asset. Several historical exhibits about the original Lowes Grove Farm School. There's an exhibit of Penny Yates of historic Yates Mill area in Wake County. All this plus great summer reading programs.

Has a lot of good features, but no place for intense learning. I know newer libraries are all about open areas and computers, but there are no small rooms where 2-6 people can have learning sessions. Just two large rooms. Also, staff is hit or miss, one person will tell you one thing, and another will tell you something else.
