I love this library and its staff. We also lucky to have a large regional library in this area. The resources available to users are numerous and totally up to date. I continue to be grateful for its presence in the community.

Rudest staff ever. Always talking about other staff and customers. Obviously under poor management. It takes forever to get any customer service and when you do, it’s a joke. Buying my books from now on.

Great location. Usually lots of kids at the toddler storytime. Great selection of kids books.

Okay library, but not too welcoming to visitors. Librarian at checkout desk was kind and sympathetically helpful to me as a non-resident, but $45 for use of a computer seems excessive. I think I'll opt to use my smartphone rather than the computer there for that price.

The remodeling of the library is fantastic! It is so beautiful and so spacious. We love it. There are so many more children's books. The children's area and rooms are great. I like that the teens have a space too. It was worth the ling wait for it to reopen.

The renovations are nice. Only thing I wish they would change is the snack rule. The only allow their vending machine snacks in the snacking area...

They charge $2 for a guest pass if you can't prove your residence. I don't think that's cool.

I hope this review will find a board member or a trustee who has the ability to make a difference within the library community. This particular library was just newly renovated so i had higher expectations than the surrounding meck libraries. The facility itself is very nice and open with many reading areas for its patrons, however, i was greatly disappointed with its children's area. There are some puzzles, a small chest of blocks, and a small stand for hand puppets along with various games and activities you can play at a table but nothing to involve small children. I understand this is a library and the goal is to engage your toddler with books but there should be more free play activities such as a play kitchen area or a market stand so children can come and use their imagination vs. the typical sit and follow instructions play. And as far as 0 to 3 yr olds, why can't this age group have a small play scape area with foam blocks for building or crawling on. Children of all ages should be able to engage with their peers and learn how to share or ask for something. This community cite should be a place where mom's can come together with their children so they can learn and have fun by using their imagination to free play and explore the area! Lastly, I have never heard of a person not being able to obtain a library card based solely on their location. I understand that outside counties would not be able to have the same privileges as residents within the county..such as not having access to electronic books, however, this is the closest library location and i was told i couldn't check out books because of where i live. Needless to say i was offended and speechless. The only reason i gave this library 2 stars is because the building was nicely constructed and had several chairs and lounging areas.
