This is my favorite of the Charlotte Mecklenburg libraries. The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly, and for those of us who frequent the library, they even greet us by name. If I can't find something or they don't have it, they go out if their way to get it for you.

I usually only come in here to sit and read. It's a very quiet location with low "gaming chairs" all around the walls that let you tuck yourself into a little nook and hide away to read. It's a very peaceful library, which I can't say about some of the others in the area. I wish the access to it wasn't quite so odd.

Nice library to visit. Great set up for kids to play and explore books. Attended storytime for preschoolers and it was fun. The instructor was great! No sign up for storytime was needed at this location which was awesome. Would like to see a shorter self check out area for preschoolers to be able to perform the book check out process themselves.

Everyone is super friendly at this branch. Always willing to go the extra mile. If they don't have something at this branch, you can order it to have it sent at no cost. I love the library.

The staff is very friendly and helpful but they don't do anything to enforce a quiet and calm atmosphere. Kids were literally running around the library yelling and laughing. Definitly don't come to this location if you're trying to study or simply read a book in peace.

The librarians do an less than adequate job at reminding everyone that this is a quiet place for learning, reading, and studying. This is by far the noisiest place I’ve been to in 5 states. People should know better and if they don’t, at a minimum, it’s the librarians job to advocate the rules of order in this place.

I like this library and frequently go here Bc it's close to home, BUT they allow too much noise. Libraries are supposed to be quiet and the talking is excessive. The Librarians don't even use inside voices when talking. It's very distracting when trying to do homework.

The staff-- especially the computer staff-- are extremely helpful. But this is one of the loudest places in Mint Hill. Tutoring going on in regular voices, teenagers having regular conversations, librarians talking across the room to each other. Not a good place for quiet but staff is very helpful

We have been attending this library for years, since my five year old was ten months. The librarians are super amazing and truly care about kids. They also have great book recommendations for all ages, be sure to ask. I believe the storytimes and library programs helped my daughter to read before she turned three, she's now on chapter books recommended by them. I would give this branch a million stars if I could. Thanks to them my child has a passion for reading. And the homeschool programs are spectacular!

The few times I have been to this library the staff as been very rude. They just sit around the front desk visiting. When I asked one of them how many books I could check out she said she didn't know. I have never disliked a library more.

Thank the Lord for the Charlotte library. This branch has helpful staff but the lady in charge of the computers can be a bit rough.
