It's a small Library which is next to the Subway entrance & serving the Briarwood community. It attracts students from nearby schools & is always crowded.

The library is small, but the kids section is okay. It is a bit noisy compared to most libraries. They have computers and books.

Fazel Keshtkar

Very rude staff.

I think what makes this a wonderful branch for my family is the children's librarian Jeannine. She is so kind and helpful, always has great programs for the little ones! I've been to other branches and have not found a children's librarian like her! She is also always helpful when out on the main library area!

THIS LIBRARY IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE. THE FACT THAT YOU HAD MORE THAN 60+ PEOPLE WAITING FOR OVER AN HOUR TO GET THE SOLAR ECLIPSE GLASSES AND TO COME FIND OUT YOU ONLY HAVE 30 PAIRS?!!!! WHO DOES THIS? WHEN WE WOULD ASK THEM WHY COULDN'T THEY HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE, THEY STOOD QUIET. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY COULD HAVE SAID SOMETHING BEFORE INSTEAD OF HAVING ADULTS AND CHILDREN WAITING ON POINTLESS LINE KNOWING NOT ALL WOULD GET A PAIR.

If you need a quiet place to read a book, go to a Starbucks because this library is a cross between a day care and an arcade. Children running wild all over the place, teenagers playing games in computer while cheering one another. Staff doesn't seems to bother anymore.

They provide misleading informations. For instance, I needed a help regarding of finding a textbook. One lady said, “go ask her over there”, so I did, she said, “we don’t have the book in our library but central library has it.” I repeated myself few times to her whether she’s sure! So I took her advice and went to the central library (took me an hour to reach there), the man at the central library said, “we don’t have that book and that lady must’ve checked if we have it in our library, therefore that lady gave you false information”, I had to be agreed with the man.

I read my fines($1) and they are so cheep that later I found out I read $1 but they only took away 50 cents

Briarwood library is a great place to read a book, although small but doesn't lack fantastic services and activities. Friendly community as well.

The manager was rude. THE workers are also counterproductive and ignore people.

A young woman walked in today with a little child. The child started to make a little noise and the lady tried to quiet down the child. One of the librarian's decided to embarrass the young women and kick her out of the library. One if the worst library's i have ever been too. The staff is rude. You'll never see me going there again.

They don't care if kids make sounds. You can bring food in. There are activities such as crafts and movies at certain times. There are alot of kids. The staff is nice. They also teach kids coding at some days.

I exceeded the character limit on Queens Library review page. So I’m here to virtually reside in a new reading room. I realized that the building is only one mile away and it’s next to the cemetery with the lake and turtles. So I might actually check out this library...today? —July 28, 2019 I feel so alive and optimistic whenever I find a new writer that I like. Vilem Flusser wrote excessively about digital anthropology and media philosophy. —July 28, 2019

really like this queens library. Quite and staff is helpful

Guess the dude at the *SERVICE* desk- thought his ONLY job was to sit "cute"- and to NOT help customers at the library. He LITERALLY sits in the center of the library- where you CHECK OUT books, DVDs, etc.- and yet was ANNOYED by questions- pertaining to said process. He was kinda rude and hesitant to help- and was CLEARLY unfamiliar with the job descrip/ volunteer duties.
