Very professional staff.

This is a beautiful library that often hosts some small exhibitions. Access is free and its layout spans several floors with multiple rooms where to work/study. The library has free WiFi. It sometimes also hosts late evening/night events but it's not so easy to learn about them.

Decently sized library. It has 4 floors total. In the basement there's 2 conference rooms and restrooms which were locked when I was there. Main floor has about 3 tables with 4 chairs each. Second floor is for children and the third floor is reference with about 10 tables with 4 chairs each, so lots of sitting space. Not extremely quiet but quiet enough in the 3rd floor.

It was very frustrating! No bathroom, & staff is very loud. Could not focus on studying at all.

So worth every penny! I am so proud of San Diego for having the forethought to create this space. It is one of the most beautiful public spaces in the county. I love the little shocks of color in the reading room amidst the gray steel skeleton.

Very fast wifi. I clocked it at 80Mbps down, 90Mbps up with 3ms latency. Lots of tables for reading and studying on the 3rd floor. Some of the corner tables have electric plugs.

This library is truly an insult to the concept of the library as the place where one can sit down, focus, and read/work. Featuring only 4 tables, its maximum seating capacity is 16 adults, and that's the only NYPL in the neighbourhood. One has to suffer the relentless noise from the children's floor and chatter of the library staff and customers. It's a complete misallocation of municipal funds.

Great wifi, very helpful and friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere to work in. In any larger reading room there will be some noise, I don't understand how you could expect anything else. But unlike some of the reviews here I did not find it noisy at all and if you do, just were headphones.

I honestly don’t want to even give this library a 1 star ratting if there was anything below I would definitely give them a grade in the negative percentile. Not all of the staff but some of the staff are rude and not empathetic at all. I had to fill out certain documents to land a new job and one of the associate questioned me on how long I had the laptop when I told her I’m filling out important documentation. If I didn’t need to use the laptop I would not be at the library in which for two is very noisy

There is no wifi. Librarians are rude. Open public place

I love libraries. The staff is kind, but the place is clearly underfunded and mismanaged from the top level. It needs some love and attention from the kinds of people who can not just refurbish, but totally transform to create a functional space. My main gripe. Its a library in the 21st Century and there are so few outlets, and theyre in such inconvenient places. I cant work there if I only get an outlet when lucky! I have be forced to go to DTUT seven blocks away rather than write in the library on my block.

Snooty staff at the information desk. I waited whlie she was on the phone, when she hung up I asked if there was a restroom, answer” I am sorry I am helping someone now. “. All she would have had to say “downstairs” less words and I would be gone. Ibshould have peed on the floor, luckily another staff person was able to direct me

Bad Experience at this library. "The Lady" in the 3rd floor says teenagers can't be in the 2nd or 3rd. Even if they are doing homework. 1 star. Horrible.

Worse place to study. 1 star only for that. Constant noise, very loud visitors and employee. Elevator ringing non stop. Unfortunately this library doesn’t have an education atmosphere:-(

Love it that we got a branch of the NYPL here. Good assortment.

Most of us aren't overly thrilled by the prospect of going to the library. Think again and give the NYC Public Library system a try. In multiple locations around Manhattan you'll find literally everything about everything. Their displays are awe-inspiring.
