Very small and not good selection of books, as well there is less then 1mbps of wifi speed, you can barely browse the internet with that speed. I have been too many small public libraries even smaller than this one, in many different towns and cities and this one was definitely the worst. Its beautiful on the outside enveloped by a beautiful garden and the staff are very friendly!! But they really have to update their internet, its the way of the future.

The city of Las Vegas, New Mexico was once a thriving stop on the railroads. To get a glimpse of the turn of the century charm, visitors should take time to visit the library. The architecture is based on Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and it sits in a small park covered with mature trees and a green lawn. The library offers free wi-fi service (password secured) and a few small alcoves where you can work online with some privacy. The collection of books is small, but the historic ambience of the building takes visitors back to the glorious year of 1904 when Las Vegas was a showcase for the rail traveler, the Harvey Hotels and the passing of the Old West.

It was okay, however it was the loudest library I've ever visited. It was hard to concentrate on reading when the librarians weren't trying to be quiet and kept talking about toenail fungus.
