I was there with a client and one of the staff members there was rude to an elderly man...he needed help with one of the computers...if you can't be nice and smile at guests. You shouldn't work for a place that caters to the public..

They are a joke, and apply false charges to your account if you question them about there methods or charges. The staff is rude and obnoxious. Sad lack of good bools of available.

If you like a library that allows racial slurs in children's books and laughs at you when you remove it from the shelf to ask why. They literally have a book titled the negro American baseball league, and on the back it clearly states that these players would have been great had they not been colored. This is in the children's section. I don't know about you, but I don't want my kids to go around learning that it's ok to call someone of different decent by any name that degrades or otherwise belittles them. In a time where we remove historical figures that were responsible for shaping our country because they owned slaves, yet we allow this filth to taint the minds of our youth. Help put a stop to this

Being a snow bird, I was charged a $15 fee and had a limited number of books or videos that I was allowed. Service was friendly and helpful. Nice facility overall.

The Wi-fi is a bit slow, saw an outlet outside, which doesn't work for some reason. I'm quite upset that I couldn't brew my morning coffee, which I like doing in the morning, as it saves quite a bit of money, and watch a movie on my laptop until the library opens. The staff, I have no problem with, though bringing up this topic will likely not be very fruitful, and that is likely to change. Selection of books is ok size, haven't browsed much in the stacks, though. I'm not particularly pleased that the outlet doesn't work, though. Alamogordo seems to have a cruddy attitude regarding the homeless and it's seasonal occupants, which I don't prefer.

Miss Ami is the best! Youth and student programs are a vital part of the local community. My family and I make this library a weekly part of our New Mexico routine.
