This review is solely based on quality in terms of a place to study. First the good: great staff, tons of computers, good amount of seating. The bad: The place is extremely loud when compared to other libraries. If you are studying for something serious (like I was) I would 100% recommend you stay away from this place; especially during certain hours. At around 2:45pm some of the kids from the school next door will come and hang out in the library while they wait for their parents to pick them up. Essentially it's a free daycare making it a nightmare from about 3-7pm on weekdays. During my 2 month study experience I've seen all types of things happen nearby me: kids playing tag, soccer, football, practicing karate. Expect loud bursts of laughter and/or kids sprinting past you to take you out of your concentration. Don't get me wrong the staff tries to "shhhhh" everyone but the effect only lasts like 2 seconds and it's right back to how it was. There is ZERO volume control here. It's a little bit better earlier in the day but occasionally you'll get a group of people whom are having a meeting or something at one of the tables and they are flat out talking at normal volume. Bottom line: Hands down the loudest library I've ever been in. Generally avoid unless you have good headphones. Avoid like the plague weekdays from 3-7pm during the school year. With all the things that are always happening in this place it's better off called the Palisades Park recreational center with books.

This place really was good. But after an "improvement" *Wink wink* Horrible one, the library put restrictions that don't let you download "exe" files. I have a cousin who went here and played a game called Prodigy which was a educational game for kids. The librarians rudely kicked him off of the computer. I hate this library and I don't recommend it. -Google Tours

This has been my hometown library for years and I have gone from being one of those children running amok in it to one of the young adults who wonder "why are these kids so loud?" However the cultural significance of this library should not be lost on any visitors as it provides an educational and environmental sanctuary to the young children of this town. This is a place where a person of any background could be assisted with the utmost care and respect. I'm GLAD you didn't like my library, Samet K. I would never want to see such an ugly person in such a wonderful place.

Staff is always friendly whenever I go over there. They have a nice area where anyone could get there school work done at. For those of you that need to concentrate on studying for that big test go here its pretty quiet. They also have computers if you need to print out some stuff as well.

It’s not bad, the people are ok, has a separate area for teens, has clubs on some days like video games, and has computers for work and renting DVDs or books or games aren’t that hard

This is in response to Samet Kucukcolak's review. I frequent this library and while it can get noisier when school aged children are present, it is by no means at an unacceptable level especially compared to other libraries. Personally, I find the library staff pleasant and courteous. Also, if you want your review to have any credibility you may want to refrain from making mean, inappropriate and racist comments unless your goal is to flaunt your ignorance and make your review look completely irrelevant and ridiculous. Usage of proper English grammar wouldn't hurt either.

I think no one cares how loud here it is. All students are noisy and their parents never try to make their kids be quiet. It is out of control :(

After 3 pm, lots of students attack to the library. Every students talk loudly to each other, play computer games loudly. There are a lot of korean ppl and some of they are so disrespectful. And there is a fat , short and ugly hispanic employee who always talks loudly. So this library is a place where is korean and hispanic people talking area.
