If you are looking for a nice, clean, relaxing library this will not do the trick. The library is very dirty. I could even see little slivers of dirt on the floor. The bookcases are organized well, but are very close together. It is way too quiet inside. Yes, a library should be quiet. It's like a library, you can't actually talk, it's so quiet. I asked a librarian about a certain book. She at first did not look up at me. Until I said "Excuse me," she did look up. She helped me look for the book that I wanted, but it was not there, even when it said checked in. Oh, and it's scary there! There was screaming going on when I was about to leave. So it's not that quiet I guess. The location is hard to find too. I couldn't find it after my Google Maps found my destination, but I didn't see it until 10 minutes later. Go to EB, Milltown, or South RIver.

The librarians have been welcoming my family and I for 15+ years. When my dad got sick with his final fight with cancer and I had to stay inside with him(or in hospital), a librarian friend brought me books. Everyone who works there loves their job and cares for this neighborhood and the people. This library is also beautiful and has a pretty upper loft for more stacks. I do, however, feel like Rutgers seems to censor certain books.. But its not proven and it's great anyway.

We saw someone getting arrested right in front of the library the library is so old the building looks like it's falling apart. the children's section has nothing for the kids to do in the library was not well air-conditioned don't go. plus there's metered parking have to pay $.25 for every 15 minutes of parking total ripoff don't go

It is pretty qiut and the people work in there are very helpful and They alway put events for everyone to come by and have fun
