The library looks good, but the coldness of that library is not conducive for studying at all

This location is well kept and clean. There are occasionally free events going on depending on the day. One time there was a group from some military museum with a bunch of different gear set up in the lobby. Guns, ammo, radios, patches, uniforms all from various wars/branches of military. Around Christmastime there was a play based of Dickens "a Christmas carol". And great projects in the children's area like "send a thank you to a veteran" that was for Veterans Day for example. My kids have loved every event we've attended! Everyone I've encountered is helpful and friendly. The library has great hours too; it's even open on Sunday!

The Burlington County Library in Westampton has so much more than books. Museum passes allow BCLS cardholders to visit exciting cultural venues for FREE. They offer FREE and low-cost auditorium programs of music and dance. You can stream films for FREE on their Kanopy app, and they offer innovative FREE programs for teens and kids to encourage literacy, learning, and creativity.

What I think about this place is that we should have more staff members and more snacks and meals to choose from. I especially know that the kid center should have more exitment and also you guys should do a them every 2weeks maybe this week could be about carnivals and decorate if you don't have enough do a fun raiser sell cookies! For fun it doest even have to be ever where it could just be in the kids section then more people would come more often! Bye and welcome!

Ben Franklin, a local of some renown around these parts, reportedly invented the concept of a public library. Thank goodness. Burlington does it right, with a very nice (newly renovated) headquarters facility and, by all accounts, some damn nice branches as well. The staff here is very helpful, though most of them are quite formal. (What'd you expect, it's a LIBRARY!) Terrific kid's section and staff if you have a kid. Nice audio collection, and it extends beyond what you can find at the HQ, so check the online catalog. Nice video collection as well. And we've taken advantage of free admission to several of the museums they partner with.

I think everyone is very friendly here and selection is good but their policies are a bit unreasonable! Basically, the DVD late fees add up VERY quickly ($1 per day) so I would not recommend this library for renting DVDs if you have a tendency of running late because by the time you get a notice, you are already a week late. :(

Very disappointed in the number of electrical outlets available. I go to the library to study and do schoolwork after working a full-time job. I go to school online and need power for my laptop. They did not consider this in the renovation. Library staff allow children in the adult section and it becomes too noisy at times.

Samantha Carbonara

Friendly and helpful staff. They have a great collection of books and DVDs!

I've been going to this library for over a year for studying purposes. No matter the time of day, it's always loud or alot of commotion in the study area. Each visit, I have to ask people to lower their voices or to get off their cell phone so I could have the peace and quiet libraries are supposed to provide. The library itself is nice and seems like they provide alot of resources and services. But if you're seeking a nice quiet area to read or study, this is not the place to get it done.

A treasure. First with computers, first to network them. First with a vast movie collection, then with DVDs, always ahead of the curve.

Burlington County Library is very...interesting. They way they operate is as if a Library card is like a Social Security Card. I could not make it out to the Library because it is freezing out/bad weather. So I called and they said I can't obtain my card number over the phone? What? There are other ways to confirm if a person is who they say they are (BD, security question, etc.) And this isn't the first time I've contacted BC about something where i needed information about MY account. I think Burlington County needs to relax. It's just a library card for christ sake, not the numbers to a vault. Not satisfied.

World class library!

It is extremely loud in this library (Westampton). I came here during the renovation and it was loud but thought that this was the case because everyone was merged together. Now that the renovations are complete it is still loud! People are constantly on their phones and speaking as if they are in the comfort of their own home. You can't turn to the staff for help because they are just as loud. I complained to the front desk staff and they assisted me in finding a spot in a corner which eliminated noise from non staff but it did not help with the noise from the staff at the reference desk.

Taxpaying Citizen

Totally renovated and expanded (2012), building with the addition of a large auditorium, a children's mini auditorium ish room, conference rooms (one large room with a dividing curtain), a media area, a teen area, a security station, a drive up book drop box, a concession area with a seating area, and a amphitheatre. All the original facilities still remain like the actual library, lol the children's library, video library, historical documents room, computers, etc. Many programs are offered including indoor and outdoor concerts. The amphitheatre area includes a concession building with attached bathrooms, and a couple of picnic tables under a shelter. Besides a large parking area (still not enough when concerts are well attended), there is a dedicated handicapped parking area next to the amphitheatre. Enjoy. It's all paid for with the dedicated library tax, so consider all this a paid for service and accept nothing but the best.

I rarely rate 5 stars but after the renovations and the added outdoor theater it's looking great. During the summer they even have free concerts to go to outside

I have been a member for a year now and it is a very nice place where I can get all my work done on these great and fast computers. I can read a book or two. I can even rent out a movie for my whole family to watch. It is a great family place where we can all learn and explore the great wonders that this library has for us to enjoy.

Big library, new books every week.

Beautiful, spacious library in a modern building that looks a little like a renovated barn. Staff is friendly and there is an excellent children's section.
