This is one of the best libraries I've ever been to. All the employees are always very helpful, they have a great selection, and everything is convenient--checkout, return, finding things, etc. One of the best things about this library is their large collection of audiobooks as well as DVDs. For anyone with dyslexia, audiobooks are a great alternative, and they provide a great selection. Their collection of both old and new movie and tv titles is impressive. My husband and I dropped cable to save money and the selection here has made that choice completely painless. Highly recommend this place.

I just wished the librarians would actually enforce the "shh, keep quiet" rules. My only other complaint is too many readers! I'm kidding.

I have loved this library throughout the years! There are so many wonderful things about this library. The used book sales are great. The children's library is wonderful. The library offers a quiet place to study upstairs and private group study rooms are available.

Good selection, helpful staff. Innovative ideas, like the new book shelf in the lobby. You can shorten your wait for a new book if you can read it without a renewal.

Very nice place, no doubt about that. They have very large shared desks upstairs with outlets on top for charging your computers, etc. (no need to get on your hands and knees). Wifi seems reliable. Beware there seems to be many special events of some sort here making parking impossible just in case you're hoping for a reliable study spot. Thought this might just be a Holiday problem but not the case. Additionally, brats running rampant and other uncultured types that have no manners either. I'd like to say this isn't the fault of the library but essentially it is. Need signs that state to keep your brats near you and not running amuck but that seems to be the norm everywhere these days.

Absolutely love this library, I am here constantly. I come here for all my book and movie needs/wants. If there is something that they do not have I can have it ordered and sent from another library for me; especially those out of the blue moments when I have a desire to see an old movie.

Wide selection of fiction and non-fiction that is well organized. Genealogy, newspaper, medical, and law databases available. Foreign language collections and access to "Mango" with card. DVDs of documentaries and entertaining shows/movies, as well as video games. Expansive reference books section. Children's area on the first floor, teen section, computer lab, printer (for coast), and 3d printer. Guest lecturers on the first floor. Access to MeLCAT catalogue if media is not available at rhpl

Love love love this library, it has become my go to place to study from college into grad school. I love that there is a walking trail behind the library, and food close by. makes for very relaxing study and lunch breaks. There are always events going on for children as well as adults. I dont even live in Rochester Hills but its hands down my favorite library.

Very satisfied customer. I've frequented this place for my studies and enjoy the wide selection of educational material which is available. The newer conveyor belt that allows returning the items while comfortably sitting in the car is highly appreciated. Great people willing to help throughout the establishment.

Beautiful building and grounds with a nice selection of books, music, and movies. If they don't stock an item, it's easy to order through MelCat. Staff is helpful and polite. I wish some patrons would remember they're in a library, not at home, or in a bar. If you want to discuss you're grandmother's bowel obstruction on your cell, please take it outside.

I no longer enjoy coming to the library unless it is early in the morning. After school the library has become a social club. You no longer find a seat, the kids are too loud, and out of control. I remember when my grandson was put out of the library for this type of beheavior

2 floor filled with books, large collection of rental movies and my kids love there department. They always have book sale, which is my favorite part, got excellent books for less then $5. Large parking lot and next to post office, get 2 things done in 1 trip.

What an incredible library! They have so many books; I rarely have to order anything off of Melcat. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are active in the community and have a lot of events for both kids and adults. The library has a beautiful walkway outside, too.
