nice neat and quiet. The cyber cafe is awesome, nice collection of snacks and food, and they stay open late! Really convenient for studying late.

MSU has a lot of under utilized, poorly advertised, underappreciated resources on campus that are pretty cool and helpful. Nice place to study, which is bigger than you think. I thought the only study areas were on the first floor, but there's a bunch on every floor on the east side and also some kinda map library. I really hope that there's people that use this place because seeing all the books and knowing my roommates, I know there's never going to be a connection between the two. Also I'm pretty sure it's open 24 hours

An excellent university library. The librarians are extremely helpful and the resources available here have always met my expectations. The copy center on the second floor is great, the area librarians are all helpful experts, and the layout is easy to follow.

I only started coming to the library my 3rd year at MSU because it’s always been out of the way but I always go now when I have exams & especially during finals. There’s honestly so many different spots to study & varying noise levels which is really nice. I highly recommend the 4th floor along the wall by the windows

Great place, lots of room and can be quiet or talkative depending where you go. Also the weekend hours on here are wrong, check their actual website for correct hours.

Great place for everyone; excellent infrastructure. (they are finding the money somewhere to continuously renovate and improve layouts...which is one of the only campus buildings where I don’t find it being wasted lol). Open 24-hours during Finals Week; don’t see why MSU cannot use a combination of camera surveillance, honor code, and security guards to keep it open 24/7 the whole semester. Only other wish is that all students respected the quiet areas; some of us go there to get work done (and not “play-work” with our 5 best friends!). Sparty’s Cyber Cafe, Copy/Media Center, Group Computer Labs, Video Game Rooms, and much more.

To address Pamela's concerns, this is actually an Academic Library. The primary service is to the students, faculty and staff of Michigan State University. However, there is a community borrower's card available for Michigan residents over the age of 18. There is no fee to check out DVD's. East Lansing does have a pubic library and for awhile MSU's library was mistakenly placed in their location at 410 Abbot Road. However, this has been fixed. However, they now list us in Okemos, but we're actually in East Lansing.

As someone who works #ComicCon every year, I have a great appreciation for MSU's co workers comic collection, which is the largest in the world of any library. With more tha. 20,000 items, no wonder it's become a primary resource for research in this art. I'd love to include the collection on one of my #DiscoveryMichigan #ArtTours! #PureMichigan

Great place to visit or work! Many different reference material; for classes, luxury reading, etc. Only downside is a lack of fiction books for student's to enjoy.
