The Farmington Hills branch of the Farmington Community Library is no doubt one of the best libraries in the country. Here you will have a quiet place to do work or study. There are numerous computer terminals, periodicals, music, movies and a wonderful children's section on lower level.

The friendliest children's librarians in the area!! I have three children and we regularly go to local libraries' programs. Farmington Hills wins when it comes to the most welcoming, warm librarians. We also enjoy the regular programs for tots and preschoolers. The resources are excellent as well. Thank you!!

Excellent collection of books and excellent library. Staff are not friendly if you belong to certain kind of people. Beware of partial treatments and discrimination.

Spacious. Clean. A ton of study areas. Well lit. Quiet. Common study areas have deceivingly comfy seats. They hurt the back.

What an amazing place. I've really only come here for my two year old but the amount of activities for young people is amazing. He will play games on the ipads or play games in the activity room. He is a member of the read 1000 books before five. They have a music area and a play kitchen. Books galore. I have checked out their DVD collection as well which had movies but I didn't see any recent TV shows. Highly recommended even if coming for just a short period of time. Also have this amazing pin set which I've only seen at hands on museums.

Very loud library , omg so many kids and they are not even in the kids section . They r everywhere, n the staff doesn’t even bother to do or say anything about it to the parents. I had to get up 3 times to ask them to talk to the parents to keep the kids quite or take them to the kids section but nothing happened. Oh and the internet is very slow

Yep I love libraries in general, but this one is really exceptionally cool!! It is a huge location. They have tons of programs, and a really neat assortment for kids that i noticed, including a homeschool program. They have an auditorium and i went to see a concert for black history month there, it was great. The kids area is in the basement, and it is huge. Lots of cool features, including this music/noise nook. Lots for kids to play with, in addition to the computers which always draws them. And tons of books! One thing i really liked also, was they had a section that was labeled "3rd &4th grade" for chapter books. They really seem to entice people to use the library and to love reading and education! Love it!

Best public library I've ever been to. Beautiful building, inside is spacious, has a cafe, good selection of DVDs, books, also has many programs for all ages. I'm a big supporter of this library.

The only flaw this library branch has is the traffic on all the nearby main roads. Besides that this is a beautiful library. Excellent selection of material from music to movies and of course books. The self service stations are a great addition for private rentals. There's always a computer or desk open when you need it. I cannot rate the little cafe and bake shop they have inside because they are grossly overpriced.

Been coming here for over ten years. An excellent library that is also connected to the City of Farmington Library at Grand River and Farmington. With a large collection of books, a wide variety of movies and TV shows, graphic novels, video games and basement filled for children needs. It also has a large collection of computers to use for your online needs. LOVE this place!!

The staff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Several great programs for the family. Excellent selections to choose from that have inspired and renewed my love of literature and movies. I'll be exploring the music section also.

Location is great! Parking is great! catalog and library staff is great! I took off one star because I had couple of bad experience with circulation desk, they sound bit rude, when you call and politely ask the hours during bad weather they say "didn't you listen to voice message about the hours." I replied I was not able to hear until I was automatically transferred to you." I was like wow! they are being paid to answer people's questions and such non polite reply is not appropriate.
