Gardiner has an annual celebration of the start of summer, the Riverfest, and on that weekend the Gardiner Public Library has a book sale. That is reason enough for us to come every year, looking to fill out our reading lists. Great prices, and a selection too big to scan completely. There is some organization, but it isn't complete.

It's fine. Rather small compared to nicer libraries but we are in fairly rural Maine. Part of a larger group of libraries as most are these days so any book not on their limited shelf space can be requested from another library if you don't mind a brief wait
