U will luv luv luv this place, s not jusexcellent for kids. But adults will luv it too.

It's a nice, great neighborhood public library in downtown Hammond, LA just across from the police station so that's a good "safety bonus" lol. Anyways the library interior is spacious and spread out with a variety of chairs, tables and sofas to sit on and relax. Great air-conditioning here as well for those hot (Summer) days in town. Great place to meetup with family and friends to regroup and hangout. Great staff, wide varieties of books and resources that ever expand and change. They have "silent rooms" where you can study or play a board game and hang out with some friends. Restrooms are clean and well-functioning. Can't really say anything "negative" about this library as it's very well-rounded; but like anything else can use a few "tweaks" and improvements. Overall, a great library to explore and see for yourself whenever you may be passing by the area.
