My daughter goes to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and uses this library daily. She has been unfairly singled out by a staff member here and searched for no reason. This particular lady had other students go through my daughters belongings searching for something that was never made clear. My child was made to walk through the detectors several times and her book bag, after being searched, was put back through the detector . Nothing was found because my daughter had done nothing to deserve this treatment. She was embarrassed and harassed for no reason. This sort of thing is unacceptable. Staff members here should be chosen more carefully. I pay plenty of money for my child to go here. She should not be fearful of going to the LIBRARY!
