Great library. They have almost anything an academic could need. The staff has been more than helpful at pulling books for me out of storage. The shelf organization is helpful, with good signs and general subject headers for each section. This library also has very large study areas. The long tables and high ceilings do well to eliminate the "cubicle" feel that most other library study areas have.

It would be five stars. I pay 6300 dollars per semester, and the library is closed Friday and Saturday night. I know most don't need the library on these nights, but plenty of people get booted while they are working. I work 40 hours a week and take 18 credit hours. Having access to a quiet place to study is certainly something that any University should feel obligated to supply. But they don't. They will save their 200.00 a week on electric and give each other high fives. But it's nice when they are open.

Decent place to study, quiet spaces and large open areas to meet up with friends. Can get packed during finals week. Staff are helpful enough and plenty of sources for papers and projects. And no, it's not sinking because of the books....

Willy T is an amazing library and I highly encourage students in Lexington to take full advantage of it. There are countless resources, helpful staff, completely quiet sections, and not to mention, it is a beautiful building. I was so spoiled at Uk because of this library. I am getting my masters at a different university in another city, and I wish more than anything that I had the Willy T library-- it would make my life a lot easier!

Built on a sinkhole, this is a very nice library. Much better than the old MI King library.

The Band

This Library is open 24/7. Visitors are welcome before 5PM. I really dont Care about architecture Of libraries because i go to libraries around The World for Their unique materials. The Library is comfortable and there is adequate natural lighting. They have plenty Of agriculture literature and thesis papers and volumes Of government related publikations which seemed boring. So i guess i largely stück with my middle grade fiction writing projects.

This library serves as the main library for the University of Kentucky. As such, it gets very busy during exam weeks, other than that its a great place to search for a book and sit down and study or read quietly. The higher the floor, the quieter it is (generally). The staff here are friendly as well. Security at the door starting at 11.

This is one of the most spectacular libraries I have been in my life. Plenty of natural light and space to study. I huge collection of periodicals and books. They have also a lot of technological tools. They can even print on T shirts. Simply amazing!!

This is the best library ever!! I love the study rooms that are almost like private rooms except there's no door. They also have desks with overhead lighting. In those little rooms you are allowed to have food and drinks. You just have to be quiet and respect those around you. Everyone is super helpful and there is so much knowledge just waiting to be read. Multiple computer accessibility, laptop check out, media center it just goes on and on. Anything you need to do for school can be done here. I've even taken my daughter with me to do homework as I do mine.
