I was super excited about this library at first. It's very nice and has a great selection of reading material as well as movies, book on audio, video games and a great area for kids. They even offer coffee, hot chocolate and tea for $0.25! Cool, right!?! Most of the staff is super friendly. All seems good right?!? Well, about 3 p.m. the library is invaded by the loudest group of kids ever and they simply tell them to be quiet. 5 minutes later they are loud again, cursing up a storm and disrupting everyone again. We have actually made it a point to be gone by 3 so we don't have to deal with them. Then today we come in after lunch and I bring my cup in. I am informed that I am only allowed to bring outside drinks in that have a screw on lid...... Um, the coffee and things they sell here have pop on lids just like this cup. Not sure why this is a rule, but it's ridiculous since you can purchase drinks inside the library without a screw on lid. Either allow drinks with lids or don't, but a double standard is dumb.

This is the loudest library I've ever been to. Came here to do my homework and there are children screaming and climbing all over things and also a lady is holding counseling sessions in the reading/study area just having conversations out loud. Even the librarian is texting on her phone with the volume up so loud not only do I hear her notifications every 3 seconds but I can even hear the swoosh noise it makes when she presses send.

I was delighted to see such great customer service. The outside of the library may give you the wrong impression but once inside, it is spacious, great WIFI, and comfortable reading chairs and booths. I was there for a couple of days accompanying someone who works near by and I was content I found this small library where I could do my school and job work.

Big shout out to the Carrollton Library for now making it impossible to apply for government assistance by securing all their computers in an incognito mode... Us broke asses have to wait for the next paycheck so we can print the application to submit it to the Kentucky Commonwealth office where their should be apps but they cost to much money to print themselves I guess? My friend and her 2 children now have to wait another 1 or 2 days to eat let alone the application processing time because it could not be completed online. So much for community assistance

Great facility. Hate to see so many disruptions in the atmosphere from unruly teens though. I don't even have to worry about my toddler making noise.....she'll be drowned out by the older kids acting foolish.
