Tech room where you can use computers is great. Nice selection of fiction and non-fiction. Children's Library is absolutely delightful. Pre-school through young teens have a place for them. Great books of course, but modern "necessities" like computers as well as movies and video games for checkout. Staff on both floors are professional and friendly.

The Salina Public Library is the best library I've visited. Clean, spacious, helpful staff. It offers free, fun and educational classes and workshops on a variety of topics for all ages. I've taken youth to the youth/teen tech clubs the last 3 months. It's amazing the type of technology and activities they offer youth. Salina is lucky to have such a great library!

The Salina Public Library has invested in the future. Utilizing some of the latest checkout and inventory technologies. This make the experience of finding and checking out the book you want quick and easy. The people and programs there are geared toward an ever increasing level of education in the city. Between the book clubs, the local art displayed, the adult education programs, and the striking aesthetic, you'll find a piece of home at the Salina Public Library. The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired, but where downtown does the parking not suck?

In my life I have lived in seven different places, one abroad, and the first thing I do is visit the public library. We all need water, food, and shelter, but access to a library is right up there with the essentials of life. Salina is not a large city but its library would do justice to one. The collections, digital and print, are broad; the programming is varied and interesting; the tech assistance is invaluable; and the service is excellent. I count myself lucky to have landed in Salina and visit the library often.
