I so enjoy visiting this historic library... It was the first public library in Kansas City... Which makes it very old... Granted they don't have a large selection of books to choose from but that's ok... Just being there is like visiting the ghosts from long ago that are long forgotten... They have lots of computers that are free of course... The people who work there are very helpful and kind... They offer many different free programs... I'm not going to tell you the best thing about the place you'll have to discover that on your own... My bad...

I seriously wish that the librarians here would enforce the fact with not only patrons, those taking a respite from the outside, but THEMSELVES as well, that it is a library. Libraries are not places to carry-on full fledged conversations in a regular tone. People still come to libraries to study and work. Desk clerks, WTH?!?!?! Noone wants to here your conversation. I'm sure you were taught this in training. Shhhhhhhhhhhhh
